Single mum (29) in GC

Hey there, i knew i couldnt be the only single mum new to the GC and feeling lonely!. Just arrived this week from Sydney and as much as i love it up here, my mum left to go back to sydney yesterday and my little girl is with her dad for the weekend who came up from sydney to see her and im all alone in a strange place and feeling like crap! I am staying in Helensvale in the process of trying to get my own place (proving difficult for a currently unemployed single mum) around the Southport, Broadbeach or Coolangatta areas so Im keen to meet up with any ladies to share our sad stories and then to tell each other that its time we get on with our lives. I am 29yrs old and my baby girl, Eden is 18mths. We are an active pair who like to walk the streets of Helensvale every morning for at least an hour (i walk, Eden rides), welcome any opportunity to lunch with good people and would love a good game of tennis with anyone who is keen and knows what we can do with the kids for that one hour! Searching for any sporty single mum on the coast who likes (or wants) to get fit and can give me good tips on how i can lose those last 6kgs (pref 10kgs to reach my stretch goal) so whenever Eden's dad picks our daughter up every 2nd weekend, i can shove it back in his face whilst i waltz around feeling fabulous! Not the sporty or exercise type??? Thats ok too, im a good talker and a great listener with great advice for anyone willing to listen....Hope to hear from you soon.

I live in Oxenford right across the M1 from Helensvale. I'm not a single mum, I recently got married, but i'm always looking to meet new people with kids. My son ryan is 13 months old and i'm 3 months pregnant with bub #2.
I go to the Goodlife gym at Westfield Helensvale 4 times a week, the childcare there is great, $1 and hour. I'm trying not to pile on as much weight as I did during my first pregnancy... your welcome to come alone with me to check it out.

Sounds good, Im still unpacking, so I dont know when I will have any 'spare moments' yet, and Kaden started daycare yesterday and lasted half an hour, lol, but let me know when and where and I will see if I can make it....... Would be lovely so Im sure I can sort something out :)
