New to Bub Hub

Hi Ladies,

I noticed that all of you here have bubs around the same age as my little one. Eva was born on the 4th October 2006. I was hopeing that i could ask some advice or get some tips. Eva does not sleep through the night and can wake up to six times, not to be fed but to be cuddled. (Although she will drink a bottle if offered). I am trying controlled crying which is extremely testing for me. I do want to continue with it but i need some reassurance i guess, from other mums that it will eventually work. Today is day five of the cc method. Anyway thanks for listening.:)

OMG how weird my DD was born on the 7th Welcome to bubhub I tried cc but had no success so DD is back in my bed I hope it all works out for you :hugs:

Keep persevering, CC will work if it is done properly. You just have to be strong, which I know is easier said than done. Its easy to put your bub into bed with you when she wont stop crying, so you both get to sleep, but you really are making a rod for your own back. But in saying that, don't lose your sanity over it!
CC has worked for me, my children sleep from 730pm to 7am, occassionally waking up once a night (the 10 month old only) and I stick his dummy in, tuck him back in and walk out.

Anyways, I'm babbling now, goodluck with everything and its almost your bubs 1st birthday!!
