My Blueberry Fluffy Mail!!!

Dontcha just love unexpected fluffy mail? I ordered my Blueberry from the US only 6 days ago (incl. weekends)and it came today...speedy gonzalas!!! :smiliedance: :smiliedance: :smiliedance: Didn't realise it was a pocket, but never mind. It looks fab and I can't wait to try it out. Will be back in a day or so to post a pic of the princess in it! :thumbsup:

It's a bit weird that they call them an AIO on the site, when they aren't. They are good though, perform well around here :D

Oh no! That's too long to wait. Maybe yours was out of stock? After I had orderd mine, I found out that Baby Blossom are going to be stocking Blueberry's in the next couple of weeks, so that will save ordering overseas, yay!

yep they were out of stock, they told me to choose another one.. so i did that was on the 18th august... iv just emailed them anyway... :D

I got the one with the pink, green and brown circles. Very retro! Didn't see the purple one though? Look out, I see another spending spree coming up!

Does anyone know how many times you need to wash them before use? The insert is hemp yeah?

Ok, had a look at their wash'n'care instructions on their website, and found out the insert is microfibre/hemp. Here is a quote from the website on washing:
"Washing the pocket diapers with hemp inserts together prior to first use may cause the oils from the hemp inserts to coat the fleece on the pocket diapers and cause it to repel."
:confused: Is anyone else confused by this? Does it mean I can't wash the insert and nappy in the same wash? It doesn't make sense to me. :o

It also says if using hemp inserts, I need to wash and dry separately 3-4 times on hot. The insert is microfibre under bubs bottom, and hemp under that, so do I still need to wash that many times? I'm impatient!

It just means that initial wash. After that, it is fine to wash them together.

I just washed my fully hemp inserts once - they still worked fine. :D Save the water and the time :yes:

So should I wash the hemp insert by hand then? Would that be good enough?

hemp you don't have to dry in between, just do 1 hot wash with detergent, and 2 - 3 normal washes without detergent. The actual pocket should only need one wash. The microfibre should not be touching babies skin, but if it's inside the pocket then yes it goes on top of the hemp so the wee hits that first.

I only washed mine once....and it has performed really well. I have found the inserts are really very absorbant, esp the OSFA inserts (which are different to the snap inserts).

As I had been out for most of the day and hadn't had a chance to try the Blueberry on Eva, I thought I would put it on her just to take a picture, then try it out properly tomorrow. She had just done a big poo, so I thought I was safe. Mmm, well the little princess decided she loved the Blueberry so much she would christen it with another big poo :eek: What a darling! At least I got to try out my Little Squirt for the first time and I was rapt, it worked so well and I didn't even spray it up the walls!

So, after you have all had a good laugh at my expense :rolleyes: , here is the photo just before she dirtied the nice new nappy! :laughing:

Thanks! Hey, Kristy, the other day, the MCHN said to me that if I gave Eva more tummy time, her bald spot would go :confused: What do you think? All babies get that don't they? Maybe I should get Eva a bandana like Ebony has in your avatar! :laughing: (gorgeous pic by the way)
