I guess so, there's baby yoghurt at the supermarket. Good luck!

According to Baby Love by Robin Barker, yoghurt is fine to give to 6 month old even, as long as it is natural yoghurt (ie no sugar added). She suggests to add your own fruit if you want to make it sweet.

My kids love yoghurt! Taliyah is the same age as your bub and has the baby yoghurt which you can buy at the supermarket ;)

Mine loved it too just start by giving small amounts first to make sure bubs can stomach it :) i used to just give mine the plain natural yoghurt with a little pureed fruit in it to take out the bitterness

My son loves his yoghurt and fruches. If he sees me with a container he comes running. It must be the only time he wants to sit on my lap quietly lol.... A lot of people recommend baby yoghurts as they are gentler on the stomach but in saying that DS eats normal no added sugar yoghurt and we havent had a issue. Up to you what you decide to do.

Yoghurt is good if you find the right one.
Most have sugar in them. Most the baby ones do too. Make sure you read the ingredients first and go for a full fat.
There is one baby yoghurt out there with no sugar in it and its full fat. There is another brand called Jalna (am i allowed to use brands?) which has some full fat flovours and none have sugar, they even make a custard style yoghurt with no sugar either.
Babies don't need sugar in their foods at this age.

Absolutely  , was one of my bubs first (& favourite!) foods.

I give him the Jalna full fat plain yoghurt which he loves on it's own or with fruit. The best part is I'm loving it too and no longer buying the sweet stuff for myself either.

I believe that even some bubs who are milk intolerant can still stomach yoghurt becasue the lactose breaks down in the fermentation process. Don't take my word for it though.

I started DD on the baby yoghurts but then realised that they are a bit of a rip off!

At age 10 months she started to eat full fat plain yoghurt. I sometimes add some mashed up fruit and she loves it.

Definately give it a go! DD has been eating yoghurt since 6 months. She only has plain greek or plain natural yogurt to avoid colours and sugars. I add in some fruit to give it a taste. If she could, she's eat it all day and its so healthy for her

We have given Sam Vanilla Jalna (sweetened with fruit juice) since he was 6 months old. Loves it!
