OK perth mums after posting and getting the go ahead from all i have decided that if you are all still keen we can meet at the perth zoo on either of these dates, just let me know. Sat 4 or 18th March at 11am. We can all meet in the front entrance and then have a look around and then take the kids and get a bit to eat and let them have a ride on the merry go round. Men are welcome, mine is hesitant and want to just drop me off but i am hoping he can come then i can concentrate on catching up with all of you girls.:)

PLACE: PERTH ZOO
TIME: 11AM
DATE: SATURDAY 4TH OR 18TH MARCH

NOTE: men are weclome

We will try to be there, it is Matthews birthday on the 13th and my Mum is coming to Perth, I'm not sure of the dates so it may include one of those weekends.

Nick may come but does work some Saturdays and might need to be dragged along!

So if all those things work out we will be there:p

Ok since everyone seems to be happy with either day how about we make it for Saturday 18th March at 11 am in the entrance of the zoo? is everyone happy with that and i am glad there is so many of you interested in coming. I think i may be able to persuade my dh to come since he is going to have to drive me there anyway and does love taking the kids to the zoo i think he'd prefer some men there though:p

The 4th of March is my birthday so that would be nice but I can do the 18th as well my partners not at UNI on a saturday so that will be great.
My little girl will be nearly 6 months then so that will be lots of fun! And I love the zoo! So Saturday the 18th of March , 11am. Cool!:D

I'm new to this site, but I was wandering if it would be ok if I came? I don't know many other mums, and as you guys all seem to be around my age, it'd be nice to get to know you all.

So if it's ok with you, I'd love to come :) However my partner wouldn't be able to make it, he manages a pub, so Saturday's a must show for him when it comes to work.

Stu manages the Whitesands Tavern in Scarborough. It's a bit of a hole at the mo, but they're going to renovate it into the largest liquor store in the southern hemisphere ( YAY! More time spent at work!! LOL)

Okay, Steve is definitely coming and yes, one of his specialties is eye rolling! We just realised that it's the day after Mia's birthday, so we'll be sneaky and make it like a b'day thing for her!
We weren't having a party for her this year anyway, so it works out well.

Sounds like a fantastic idea! Am only new to the site so I'm going to try to make it but will depend on when bub decides to arrive so will keep you posted if myself, DP (a professional eye roller) and bub can come along.

I doubt my partner can come, he usually works night shift at the casino, so he'll be sleeping all day.

And I HATE being stuck at home on the weekend while he sleeps. It means I have to TRY and get my kids to be quiet lol.

Anyway, should one of us collect a list of whose coming and everyone pm them their mobile number, or one of us give everyone their number, so that if people have to pull out at the last minute, we can text or ring, so we're not standing around all day waiting for someone.

Does anyone SOR need a lift? Because I will have space in the car.

I went to the zoo about a week before I had my little one, Its a good job theres plenty of benches coz there was lots of sitting and resting to be done.

I'll be using public transport.
Last time I caught the bus to the perth busport and then from the perth busport to right outside the zoo, its number 30 at stand A6It leaves at 10:27 and takes about 5 minutes.
The ferry you have to walk up a big hill, which might be too much for littel legs, it was too much for my legs under my bump.

Now everybody make sure you bring a little umbrella and sunscreen, hats and plenty of water. :D

We get back at 10:30pm on the 17 (Going to NZ) and there will be a 5 hour time difference so we will be absolutely buggered and I don't really want to try to organise baby bag and ourselves to go out.
