hire a doppler in SA. where?

i really wann hire a doppler for the month so i can hear bubbys heartbeat whenever im feeling anxious or nervous. i have been to a few chemists but they said they didnt even know what a doppler is. hmmmm....
does anyone know where i can hire one from in SA. im in the southern suburbs.

I would say try your local Chemist, they normally hire out these kinds of things, if they dont ask them they will more than likely know where and point you in the right direction :D:D or even ask your local GP:D

oh and ebay has some that are not badly priced, sometimes you can get them cheaper than hiring one, my sis inlaw got one for under $30 with P&H... good luck :D

Google "first beats" - they're based in Sydney but deliver medical quality dopplers (hire or buy) anywhere in Australia. I'm in Brisbane and used them with both of my pregnancies and they arrive by express post, only takes a day or so. I can't remember what I paid exactly but it was around $40 a month to hire I think.

The guy that runs it is absolutely wonderful, they're very helpful and efficient and the dopplers are excellent quality.

I used them in 2004 and again in 2006 and have no complaints, I always recommend them to everyone :thumbsup:

We ended up getting one from Kmart, it cost us approximately $40.

Hi, I personally wouldnt reccomend firstbeats, I ordered a doppler a week ago and still have not received it despite them saying it was being delivered by next day courier, I have made many attempts to contact them, and have been ignored everytime. they have ripped me off alot of money, money that could have gone toward something for my unborn baby. :(
