Not planning on doing this as yet but the thought has been on my mind on how to do this??? DS is having 3 bottles a day and when the time comes I want to try and get him drinking his milk out of a sippy cup instead of a bottle firstly with his afternoon bottle, then breakfast and later later his bedtime one.
How is the best way to approach this??? Any suggestions/experience? Ta :)

what bottles do you have? because the avent have to different stage attachments which replace the teats i also know some other brands fit the attachments like pigeon tommee tipee dymples wide neck ones. you can also buy handle so its an upgrade and a complete new cup/bottle iykwim

GO slow :) i would keep his morning and evening bottle as a bottle at first, get yourself a variety of sippy cups as some dont like certain ones so you find you have to try a few first! I would just offer him a sippy cup at lunchtime (or his middle feed) see how he goes with it if he takes to it ok and still drinks the amount he usually does then when his got the hang of it you can cut out another bottle etc etc.

I found alot of the time mine spat theres till i found the right cup :)

 DD is nearly 4 months old and i already give her one feed a day from an avent sippy cup because i dont want her to become attatched to the bottle... she freaked out a little at first but now it only takes her a second to adjust... soon ill move to two day feeds from it:D

Pretty much the same as above, Ive offered the avent sippy cup from 5 months with DD's meals every day to help her get used to it. Sometimes she has very little out of it but it will help her adjust to the change easier when the time comes imo
