Me too,

I have 2 girls aged 8 1/2 and 11 1/2 and boy oh boy are we going through some changes with the older one at the moment.

It will be so nice to be able to come on here and post my worries, laughs etc.

Now, how do we get the word out???

Hey guys...older kids..ummm I have a few LOL. Have a few younger ones chucked in their too. You just gotta love em (cos at times were the only ones LOL)

Yes their can be times when they are sending you grey (Live Color _Black) but shoshh thats between us LOL

Wouldnt trade them for anything, they bring me joy, happiness, elation, as well as sadness, torment and pain, but at the end of the day...I am proud of them.

It is great that there is this section as parenting older children is quite different. My son is 7 and my dd1 is 4 and dd2 is 2. Time certainly does fly.

most of the time i can, usually just the funny things he used to do, but i tell you what, when my youngest was born it was amazing how much i had forgotten :rolleyes: (there is 11yrs between oldest & youngest)

i look at my baby now
and i can't remember my older two being so helpless and needy
my hubby and i talk about how much we forget
we got a video camera earlier this year and that is the
best investment i have made
i can see so much difference in my kids when i watch the tapes
