need help!!!13 month old still feeding to sleep!

i cant get my 13month old to sleep on his own. i feed him to sleep at night and rock him during the day.

i was all set to do the CC today. i gave him a bath. put on some boring music. bottle of milk. but as soon as i went to put him in his cot he wouldnt have it. CC is so hard and scary i dont know if i want to do it but what else do i do?
i have left it so long weaning him off and me and my DH want to go to the Mel Grand Prix in 2 months and he has to stay with his nanny. EEEEk:eek:

has this similar thing ever happened to anyone and what did they do about it?
come on girls lets brainstorm!i need help:confused:

Hi mummy22, my two year old miss still bf to sleep and two weeks ago when she had to stay overnight with gp's she went to sleep on their lounge no problems. It 's like they know they are in a different house with people who expect different from them and they cope just fine. If you really want to wean him then start doing so - but if it is only because of this one outing and you'd still like to bf afterwards, then don't sweat it, I'm sure your baby will be just fine in two months with his nanny.
