My DD2 had an x ray last week that shows that one of her hips is not in the socket properly because the socket isn't deep enough. We're seeing the specialist tomorrow. I'm not sure what to expect - will they just monitor it, will she have to wear a brace or a cast or have surgery?

Anybody had this? Especially at this age?

Cheers

I was diagnosed at 6 months old and had my legs in plaster for 6 weeks. 31 years later and I've never had a problem with my hips, except they get sore during pregnancy.
