girl's 1st birthday party ideas and pressies.

Hey there

My bub is not 1 until June so its still a while away yet.

We want to have a party for her but am not sure on what to do.....

Any ideas on what anyone did for their little one's first birthdays????

Also I am wanting to get her something nice for her birthday rather than just a toy or something and am not sure what????

What have you guys given your little girls for their first birthdays????????

I have seen some really pretty bracelets for little girls. I'd tell you the sites I saw them on but I can't remember them :o I'm sure someone around here knows of some :)

My youngest is 1 in a month and as I have done for the others we are having a party at home with a few other little ones. The day will be all about her, doing things she loves but can't usually do!I'll set up the house with cubby houses ie tables with sheets over them, and climbing frames (hired), boxes and baskets to climb in or put things in. Then we'll have ice cream cake which she can eat with her hands. And then she'll go to bed - exhausted but happy!

For Jesse's 1st birthday we had it at home and had clowns with performing dogs come to entertain the kids...they were a hit!
For Lucas' 1st birthday we had 'a day at the farm' and hired a barn (it was beautiful - open fire, full kitchen) and the kids went on a tour of the farm and had a hay ride etc and then we all had lunch together...that was a great day too.
