My mum was saying to me that my sister got different nappies for her son at night time. Does anyone else use different nappies for night time . At the moment we are either using babylove nappies or huggies. I know last night i think Rhiannon would have slept longer but her nappy was full and woke up at 4.30am, I changed her nappy and she had a little feed and went back to sleep until 6.30am.

I used to use Huggies or Babylove at night for DS, and either Snugglers or cloth thru the day, depending on if I was home or not.

For my 12 week old DD I have been using cloth day and night. When we go out I have to use Huggies coz I tried Babylove and they gave her a rash so I haven't tried any others.

Most people I know use Huggies at night and cheaper ones/cloth thru the day :)

I haven't found Huggies to be better than cheaper brands for nighttime. I think it's hard for little bubs not to get too wet because they drink during the night so it's got to come out as well! I'm about to try cloth at night, so I'll see how that goes.

Huggies at night and cheaper ones through the day. Huggies seem to hold more and don't tend to leak when really full.

Same, i was using cheap ones (Babylove) through the day, and Huggies at night, but now i use the Woolies Select ones for both and have found they're really good! DD2 sleeps from about 9pm - 5am and doesn't leak at all.

Hi

I use the next size up in huggies at night for my little man. I have since he started sleeping though the night. It seems to give us an extra hour or so.

I used to use huggies day and night but now I use the Woolworths Select ones day and night - they aregreat - they don't seem to feel as full as the huggies overnight unless there has been a piddle-a-thon :D i have had no leaks at all with the Select ones. I used to get a lot of crystals on bubs bum with the huggies overnight when they were really full.

I too used to use snugglers or babylove through the day & huggies at nite.
Found huggies were the best with holding leaks in & would keep bubs dry with no problems with crystals but then i never had the problem either way.
I have now made the change to cloth & bought pocket nappies with no dramas there either wayin fact bubs is a lot happier since the switch as his bum is against nice soft material not the disposables !
Unless you count Monday morning when bubs decided to have fun taking his nite nappy off when he woke up & played in his cot till i got up to him !!!!!
We had a definate leakage problem there !
Every bubs is different though so just have a play with a few different brands & maybe even try cloth & see what you prefer :D

Honestly cloth at night is very uncomfortable on bubs. We used cloth during night on dd and disposable at nite.. now with 2 we just use aldi mammia ones for both my dd is toilet trained so only needs one at nite,,

I use cloth pocket nappies on my DS at night and find them fantastic.
I don't know why anyone would think that they might be uncomfortable.
Before I started using cloth I used Huggies on my DS all the time as he was so sensitive to all other nappies. The ALDI ones were ok on him for a while, but after a while the fit wasn't right and they would leak. Haven't had any worries since we started with the cloth.
I think you will find that most people us different nappies for day and night to save some money and time. The more expensive nappies don't leak as much but the cheaper ones are fine for some during the day as they get changed regularly.:)

Yeah im a little confused about this also but maybe its because of nappy rash from not using a suitable liner etc ?????
I know bubs whinge about being wet but i have found the pocket nappies keep the wetness away from his skin & go straight to the hemp overnite so he actually doesnt whinge so much of a morning. He too has sensitive skin.
Guess thats why he was happy to play for a little longer that morning he got out of it LOL !

I use Dympal Brand nappies (big w brand $22 for 96!) during the day and huggies during the night. I have also used aldi brand mamamia during the night and find them pretty good, just that DS is inbetween sizes and i find the aldi ones arent fitting him real good atm....

We use pockets at night too. It's trimmer than normal cloth nappies and provides a complete layer of fleece to give that stay dry feel. They last us 12 hrs easily stuffed with some microfibre and hemp.

I use the aldi ones for both of my babies .

I have just recently tried the woolworths ones too, I have heard alot of people raving about them and they seem good so far so Ill see how they go its alot easier to get them because i dont shop at aldi, just for nappies

I use a HEMP BabyBeehinds with some added mircofiber (Jarrah is a very wet man). I put in a double sided fleece liner which keeps him super dry. Cost me $25 for 3yrs...cant get better value than that:p
