Ronan has just spent his third day totally nappy-free!! :smiliedance: Ok, so maybe with only a little bit of actual toilet-training success- but oh well... we'll get there in the end! In three days, he has probably had one un-prompted wee on the potty to every 3 or 4 mistakes.
He loves his jocks (yay for Lightening McQueen and Thomas underwear :D ) and I expect that he will be upset when I put a nappy on him to go out. He certainly hates having a night nappy!
I don't want to buy pull-ups (disposable; expensive; just a nappy to him) or some kind of pvc-lined-training pants like the ones I see in Big W and Best and Less (the smallest wee soaks straight through and drenches clothes).
What's out there in the MCN world that Ronan can just step into and pull up, and that will hold a 3-year-old's wee until we manage to get somewhere and put on a fresh pair?

We used the Mother of Eden ones from Honeychild and they worked well. I have seen some great ones out there - but, my brain can't think what they were though:banghead:
Oh Em that's GREAT!!
I hope it all goes well!!!!
Good luck on the potty training little man!! :smiliedance:
He'll be a pro in no time
(can't help with your question though... I'm stuck at the other end.. with a newborn.. and I'm on my last 2 'hospital' sposies... with no idea how to fold a terry so it's not too thick!... I might just use a big washer with a booster.. lol....)

Got some good pul covers, Gretel? Like the BB pul or Motherease? You could fold washers or flannellette flats (trimmer then terry, more layers) into a pad shape and just lay them in? Although I don't know how that'd go with the poo-splosions...
Thanks OM! But I can only find the HoneyChild pockets at the FuzziBunz site here in Oz. AND I WANT SOME!!! I always have problems with wing droop with my Fuzzi Bunz, these are just the same but with better snaps!!
But yeah... any hints as to where to find the pants you are talking about? :D

Yeah that's probably them  They are PUL outer microfibre inner and have snaps at the sides in case their is a poo (which you soooo don't want to slide down the legs - it gets messy).

Thanks Snugglepot, actually you were a help, I've just gone and ordered a pair of minky training pants in Cheetah :D :smiliedance:
They look great! (they'd want to for the $!)
I'm tossing up whether or not I should have got a second pair... but we're coming into summer so they'll dry fast and we are kinda homebodies anyway :D
I got the Happy Heiny pocket trainers. That way you can make them as absorbant as you want. They are waterproof pull up style with a pocket for stuffin. Works great. I actually ordered them from the states as it works out cheaper even with overseas postage costs.
i can't find any training pants on the blueberry website?
