i saw a dr at the hospy yesterday for my check up, he said my blood pressure was up and he wanted me to come in for daily checks. i went in today and it was even higher then yesterday it is now reading at 35/30 above normal:eek: . the dr said it was fine and that he would like me to come back in next week? (bit confused by this cause why did he want me to bother coming in today then?).
what is realy weird is that the midwife followed me out and told me that "they realy should be doing blood tests, he shouldn't be letting me go and she was concerned and that if anything gets worse to come right back in, and i should come in on the weekend anyway so i can see a different dr".
its a small town hospy and the drs are only visiting so it will be a different one i see next week.
the middie doing that really freaked me out, so should i be concerned? i'm thinking mabe the dr is a bit useless? should i go to a different hospy today? or see a different dr?
oh and i have been getting headaches, spots in front of my eyes, swelling, stomache pain but no protien in my urine.

I would definately ask to see another doctor, all the symptoms your having could be blood pressure related in which case you do probably need the blood tests. I had Gd with all of the same symptoms except protein in my urine. I don't mean to scare you but I would ask someone else.
