We have a pram with a toddler seat but the damn wheel keeps coming off and it is an old pram so don't know where to get a part for it, I want to know if anyone has a side by side pram/pusher or if anyone could recommed one (or are tandem prams better) I am a bit worried as my car is small (Ford Laser hatchback) and don't want to get a pram that is too big, also don't want to go somewhere and realise it can't fit through the door (the side by side one I mean) I was in Toys R Us today and had a quick look at a side-by-side pusher that was $150 so am thinking about putting it on layby, I'm just not sure though...

How old are your babies??

The limo/tandem style ones are probably better if you have a toddler/newborn combination. Maybe visit a baby shop to see if one of these prams fit your car?

I have a side by side pram for my twins, and trust me, it's certainly made going through doors difficult. When they get older and not needing sleeps in the pram, I hope to get a single Phil and Teds E3 with toddler seat attachment, so I can access shops and (mainly) the doctor's rooms a whole heap better than I can now!!

I thought Toys R Us don't do layby's

Its so confusing, maybe I might see if I can get another pram with a toddler seat coz Skye is a baby and by the time shes 3 Hayley will be almost 6 and not needing a pram. I hope I find a part for the wheel so I don't have to spend more money.

Gee - what a pain - hope you can get the part.

have you contacted the manufacturer? they're often more than happy to help out directly and dont always charge too much for the pasts, you may have a problem if the pram is old though.

Have you looked on ebay?

how old is your bub? Would a twin umbrella stroller do that reclines? You can get those around $200 new from target or get a better brand second hand on ebay around the same price? Such as a Maclaren.

Well if you do decide to go the tandem option I can really recommend the Valco Doubletake. My kids are 3 and 2 and both still fit fine. It only weighs as much as the Steelcraft single pram we had before #2 arrived, and fits into the back of my Kia Rio hatchback with no trouble at all. Plus it's no more difficult to steer!

I got a twin maclaren from ebay for $200 and it'd only been used about 5 times..

It fits through all standard doorways and folds down to smaller than most single prams.. and fits in a small boot.

The best thing is its so light and easy to manovouver.
