I am so embarrassed umm what is a cream that works for hemmoroids:o i have had a bit of a strain thats all and have the most uncomfiest damn one sitting there its on the outside TMI i know.

Would rather walk into the chemist in the morning and just ask for it rather than look for it and discuss it with the pharmacist...what works for you? Have eaten some fibre to keep things moving so i wont strain anymore but omg its so uncomfy!

Mmmm I havent got any cream advice for you but have to say that I got my first one 10days before I had DS2. I was gutted. I'd gotten thru 3pregnancies with none and right at the end I got one. Grrrrr. Anyways it was only 3 days before my due date so I thought I might as well wait till after bub was born and see what happened IYKWIM. After I had bub it was heaps better and went on its own within a couple of weeks. Good luck. Hemaroids - they're a pain in the butt aint they:rolleyes:

I don't know if it works but someone told me they swore by it after giving birth to their child. They froze a rubber glove filled with water (obviously to make ice) and apparently they would snap the fingers off to place on the hemmy to help make it shrink...
Don't know if its worth a shot but definately a thought...

Proctosedyl Cream or Rectinol Cream.

Both are safe to use when pregnant. They relieve the symptoms, but don't make them go away. They're caused by downward pressure on the bowel and pelvic floor. This could be from the baby or from constipation/straining.

If it's the latter...drink more water and add extra fibre to your diet. :)

Anusol.

Definitely Anusol.

You poor poor pooooooor thing!

I tried the rubber-glove-ice-finger thing (did I tell you about that Missie? Hah, I really have no boundaries, huh?! :D ) and found it comforting for the time it was there but it was only numbing the pain, didn't do anything to actually shrink the bugger away.

Eat lots of prunes.
