Does anyone know of any sleep schools in Melbourne that can help me.

Can anyone tell me what they are like?

There is Tweedle (in Footscray) that is meant to be great...
You can always ask you health nurse or ring your hospital and they should be able to recomend somewhere...

Good luck

There's a mother and baby unit at South Eastern Private. Apparently they help with settling and sleep problems.

The Queen Elizabeth centre in Noble Park is fantastic. They help both you and baby with sleep problems and spend quality time with you, the mum, to make sure you are OK as well as bub.

As someone else said there is Tweedle at footscray and epping at the northern hosp. It is medicare covered. I'm about to attend it on the 3rd. They help with sleep, feeding and routine. They have a day clinic on fridays at the northern one.
There phone number is 84058949, leave a message and they'll call you back.
They do seem ok

But as someone else also said you can always speak to your MCHN.

I have heard excellent reports about Masada Private Hospital at St Kilda. Two women I know have acheived great results from their babies after staying there. I myself am trying to get into Northpark Private Hospital in Bundoora. Apparantly their program is a softer approach than controlled crying (which I understand is essentially what Masada does although there may be other options). Tweddle is also excellent, but as it is a public facility and the waiting list can be very long. Masada also has anywhere between a 2 and 6 week wait. Northpark is apparently shorter wait. If you like I'll let you know when I get into Northpark so you have an idea how long it takes.
