Leather Anniversary, suggestions please?

Hey,

It is my 3rd year Anniversary soonish and the theme for 3 years is Leather.

I need help????

I want to give something that can be kept and is slightly unusual. I thought of the whole leather wallet thing or a belt or something but want to maybe do something slightly different.

For our 1st/Paper Anniversary I got a scroll that has a little "Marriage" message thing on it.

For our 2nd/Cotton I got my fave wedding pic printed on a piece of cotton and then framed it. He thought it was just a pic until I pointed out it was actually on a piece of cotton. he loved the thought.

So this year I need to be creative again only with something leather.

Got any suggestions?

All I can think of is some kind of leather key ring... Maybe a bit lame but nothing else is coming to mind :o

What about tracking down a local leather worker and see what they can do for you? They might have some good ideas :yes:

I actually already have a whip...got it when I was like 16 and a bit of a rebel. Have it hanging in our room but have never used it in that way...bit too kinky for us, but fun to muck around with! :laughing:

What a bout a nice leather scrapbook, you can put pics of you and him in it or just a photo album......What about getting all wild and adventorous(sp) and getting a leather cat womans outfit and giving him a show....and even get him a cowboy outfit with the leather holster and stuff......ok i just scrolled up and seen that your heavily pregnant....umm does he drink beer? maybe get him a leather stubbie holder and they like brand it with a message.... that would be cute

Thats funny, how would I look in a leather cat outfit at 9 months pregnant! I love it!!!!!

He's not a big drinker so stubbie holder would not get much of a reaction....

you could get a watch with a leather band... that way he can cherish the "time" you will have together in the future.

Or if he spends a lot of time at the PC, a leather computer chair, or foot stool for the lounge

Ok here's my ideas.

You could go with something practical like

* jacket
* shoes/boots
* album etc (as suggested)
* a bag/back pack
* belt (can get funky leather ones if he wouldn't use a dress one much.
* cooler bag, canteen or hip flask (seen on net made with leather and can be used for other than alcoholic stuff?)
* organiser
* pocket knife - many come in leather case thingies
* leather chair/recliner doovie
* hat &/or gloves
* glasses case (eg hold sunnies or specs)

Less practical

* jewellry (eg leather thong necklace/ wrist band with special stone or engraved plaque type thing on it, wrist cuff etc)
* leather rug/mat
* artwork on leather - eg branding, etching/engraving type thing or painting on piece of leather with pic, wedding details or similar.

Otherwise you could choose to go with the modern wedding anniversary thingie and get something crystal/glass which might be a bit easier but wouldn't keep theme with your 1st 2 anniversaries. Hope you find something though :D
