View Full Version : Soft Toy Cleaning?
Just sitting here watching EJ has she holds and chews on her toy cats ear and I'm wondering whats the best way to clean non-machine washable toys? This has a music thing in inside so i cant immerse it in water - I can see that soon Im going to need to clean this cat lol
She also has a couple of toys with a bell inside - would they be machine washable if a hot day so dried fast?

I don't know about the musical cat sorry Cathy, but i would think if its just a bell inside the others it should be alright to chuck 'em in the washer....
I wonder how you DO clean the musical ones though? I don't think i've had any that are like that....

Maybe with some kind of steam cleaner thingy???? Otherwise can toy remove the musical bit?? My theory is if it doesn't survive the washing machine it wasn't worth having in the first place!!! lol

DD#2 got green paint on her favorite soft toy. I sponged it off with a little water and some Country Homestead wool wash. It came off easily, which surprised me.
Jembilina, i cant remove the music part unfortunately as its sealed inside,
Aardvark iI'll try the wool wash and see how it goes if it can get out paint I'm sure it will clean up the cat LOL
Shannon, Will try the others in the washing machine on the next real hot day that way hopefully the bells wont rust and stick if they dry real fast.
