I always feel phantom kicks too.
Soon after Oscar was born I felt them often and I felt very empty and sad. I feel them less often now, but they still happen 13 months on.

Wow Seek, I was just about to post the same thing. (Also asking if anyone knew why it happens?)
My MIL still gets them and her youngest is 18 years old!!

 My husband called the cobey "Nugget" because he thought it was be like doing a poo (don't get me started on my husband's warped thoughts of birth) so it seems only fair the the pretend baby is a giant fart.

Yeah, probably wind!
But this is so co-inidental.. just the last few nights I've been lying there and all of a sudden feeling EXACTLY the same sort of kicking feeling that I had in the second trimester.
It totally freaks me out!! I am in NO WAY trying to conceive
Me too, plus the somewhat huge distended abdomen makes me look AND feel 5 minths pg

I still get the fart kicks. Isn't it funny that we've had them all our lives and only after the baby have we taken any notice at all?
Well, not funny "haha", more funny "perpperp".

Im currently TTC again and since I had DD have had "symptoms" and flutters!!! Talk about mess with my head lol

I've felt what seems to be little flutters in my belly after Noah was born but I put it down to wind or me being completely dillusional... :o

See this is why at 24 weeks when I was not showing, is the reason I did not know I was pregnant as I got these feelings often, for years and still get them to this day....
