Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know what a fantastic Obstetrician Dr Peter Ganter is.
I wasnt so sure about him to begin with as he was very laid back and wasnt really overly worried about things I would ask him when friends of mine put doubts in my mind about my pregnancy. Towards the end of my pregnancy he became very reassuring and kept asking if I had any questions. I was induced a week early and I had told him that I did not want a c-section and that I wanted it as natural as possible.
Through out my labour he told me that I would need an epidural because he could tell I had a very low tolerance of pain, but let me go as long as I wanted with out one. I had the epi, and when it came time to push he turned the epidural right down so I could feel the contractions and also feel my son being born - I could also feel the pain! I kept saying / yelling (deliriously) that I wanted a c-section but he didnt give up on me he kept pushing me and encouraging me to presist and I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy!
He is such a wonderful doctor who I would recommend to anyone.
