My EDD is 30 August...but my midwife says to expect to be 1 week over (as I was 10 days over with DD)

I KNOW I should be patient but I'm sick of the waiting and this prelabour which started yesterday.

Wah.

Am using Clary Sage oil atm...

oh well *sigh*

NE 1 else in this situation??

Here is my advice: get rid of your ticker that is counting down to your 'due date' :D Yes, your baby has a due date, but you don't know it! You will only find it out AFTER your bundle is born!

Soak up these last pregnant moments, and as I said in another thread - this is the last time that your baby will be so close to you and you have him/her all to yourslelf!

I went a week 'over' with my first pregnancy. This time, I am not counting down to when I am due, it's not important

Great advice Ikis84!

Hun just relax, take it easy, enjoy your DD as much as you can in the short space you have left with her as an only child...!

Hi i was due last tuesday the 21st of August im now 5 days over getting induced on thursday the 30th hoping to go into labour before then was induced with my DD also.

If you do go over just enjoy the extra time i am just getting sick of people asking if i get pregnant again i wont be telling everyone a due date just a due mth.

5 years ago today I was 6 days overdue and was trying every method out to help speed up the process of having my kid. I have some good news, he did come out eventually and in 3 days I will be celebrating the fact that he has survived getting to 5 (a bit of a mini evil kenevil).

Can't ditto the advice PP have said enough...as much as it is a pain in the nether region, soak up the last precious moments you have left as a mum of one. Have my fingers crossed & am hoping it won't be too much longer for you. I know how excited you are to have your munchkin in your arms but the day will come...I promise. :hugs:

I am currently 4 days overwith bub #3 and so over being pregnant. I have been in pre labour for ages and it doesn't go anywhere (well not yet anyway). Im not doing too much now to try to bring it on cos to be honest they dont work i am using clary sage (not massaging just having it in the room and a bath a night time) but thats it.
I can sympathise and know how you feel but they will come soon (they have to lol).

I'm with you. My bub is due on the same day! I'm over it too, truly uncomfortable and not coping chasing a toddler around with all the pain and the belly. I hear ya!

I know logically it is only a matter of days that wont affect life in general but WHO at this stage can think "logically" - I'm thinking HORMONALLY! :hair:

MOGG- Im sending you lots of labour vibes:babydust2:

I know only too well how you feel, both my boys were overdue and just recently I was waiting very impatiently for DS2 who came 10 days late.

Geez I wish these babies didnt make us wait so much:rolleyes: :D

Wishing you all the best when it happens and keep using the clary sage. I used it on the sat night in a bath and rubbed on my belly and I went into labour on the Monday night. I dont know if it was the clary sage tho...I think bub panicked when he heard the Ob say induction:laughing:

(anyway, as hard as it would be - remember you've waited 9 months, a few extra days wont hurt xxxx)
