hi:wave:

just came home from the doctors today and was diagnosed with mild pneumonia. i am now on asthma inhalers and strong antibiotics and have until monday to improve or more drastic action will be taken ie hospitalisation. :fingerscrossed: i'm better for monday as my youngest son is quite sick too and on antibiotics as well.

my family can't take a trick at the moment. :gloomy: someone in our household has been sick for the last 12 weeks. things have to improve soon. bring on spring i say.

i have to stay quiet so guess i'll play on here alot to pass the time and spend more money on ebay:devil6:

That sucks. :(

My husband had pneumonia a couple of years ago. It was horrible, but the meds they give you are very strong and will fix you up good.
He ended up going into hospital for a couple of nights but the meds fixed him up and he's fine now.

Hope you get better soon.

I had pneumonia 6 months after my son was born (yep, he was sick too).

The meds will fix you pretty quickly but pnuemonia is really no fun. It knocked me around quite a bit.

Hope you feel much better very soon :hugs:

Hope you're feeling better soon. I can imagine, how you must feel. All the medication and inhaling.

I had Pneumonia when I was pregnant with my second son.

For me, it was a horrible experience, no doctor, 4 in a row, found out, what I had.
For 3 days, I couldn't eat or drink, without vomiting.

Finally, my husband came home, he was away for work and he took me straight to the hospital. Where I had to stay for nearly a week.

Even there, it took them a while to figure out, what I had. In the end, it said, it's pneumonia on the lower lobe of the left lung but the joke is, I only have to upper lobe of the left lung, the lower one, had to be removed, due to a tumor..

Anyway, I cross my fingers, that you're better til monday and that your family gets better as well.
Sending you some healthy vibes.

Would offer to baby sit but live to far away. ;)

:hugs: hope you feel better soon
My DD (5) was hospitalised with pneumonia in both lungs a few mths back, luckly for her she was already on Seritide (a combination asthma inhaler) so her breathing was not as bad as it could have been.

Rest up :fingerscrossed: the antibiotics kick in soon.

:hugs: huge hugs for you. I've been hospitalised three times for pneumonia in the last year and it's no fun. Your kids must be bringing home the superbugs like mine. Hope you're better really soon! :hugs:

Hope you are making a speedy recovery.
It's horrible being sick and having to function and look after children too.
