Formal & cocktail dresses

I will coming down to Sydney at the end of September. I am coming down to do some shopping with my sis and bestie as I need their help to find a formal dress (black tie wedding) and a cocktail dress (for a party I'm going to).


Soooooo, was wondering if you can just suggest some good clothing shops in the Eastern Suburbs/City that I could venture into.

PS...I'm a size 16...so none of those ultra hip fashion joints that only do size 8 :p

I go to Myer, or Charlie Brown. They have nice dresses in larger sizes.

Oh and sometimes Sussan. Surpisingly they have some dressy dresses.
