most of you know there was plans for a penrith met up,,, well thats no longer happening now,,, so i was wondering if there are any mums in the pernith/blacktown area who would like to met up:confused:

tyler is now 5months,, im a sahm also a single mum,,, i get great support from family and freinds,,, however i still get lonely,,, my friends that do have kids work,,, so i dont really get to see them through the week,,,,

if anyone is keen let me no.... maybe we can met up.....

Ashfield is pretty far from Blacktown. Ashfield is in Inner West (30mins train ride to the city) I lived in Ashfield 2 years ago and have moved to Pendle Hill which is about 30mins train ride to Balcktown. Blacktown is in the west. Just trying to give you the picture of Sydney map :p

Edited to add: if you want to go to Blacktown, I think you have to catch the train from Ashfield and get off at Strathfield, then catch a Western line to Blacktown.

Ohhhh, I had the yummiest iced chocolate today, from gloria jeans. A coconut white chocolate.... mmmmmm yummy!

every time i go the shops i get gloria jeans... have you tryed the strawberry n cream one....:D OMG its so yummy......

no.. I've only just discovered gloria jeans, I usually go to starbucks. But gloria jeans has a wider variaty of non coffee options, and a nicer range of sweets ;) so I switched. I have to try that strawberries and cream next time mmmm sounds delightful

that sounds like an idea. If we do it in penrith, on wednesday morning they have story time at the library, we could meet there and go for a drink after. We could even get a take away and sit on the grassy bit outside the plaze and let the kiddies roll around on some bunny rugs. Or in my case chase after an active walker :)

Story time is between 10.30 and 11.30. The Library is attached to the plaza, you just have to go outside and walk about 100 mtrs to get to it (i guess it is a westfields now, that takes a bit to get used to :eek: ). They have nice parents rooms there to, with microwaves, couches and change areas.

i have'nt been to the plaze in a while,,, has the library always been there??? i could problemly get a lift up there from my sister

yeah, it's been there as long as the plaza has. it is at the same end as woolies and frankins.

Hey, I currently live on the lower north shore but we're moving to penrith in April and my baby (first) is due start of June, don't know anyone out there and all our family live in different countries or states!!!! Would be cool to meet up when I get out there!!!! I'm 28, married, and am going to be craving some other mums advice and conversation when I'm out there!!! For some reason all my friends seem to be gay men (great shoppers) but there interest in babies is VERY limited plus they all live in the city!!!!
