looking for friends in wollongong area

my name is Alison 21 n I have a little boy toby who is 18mths n am expecting my 2nd child in december have only been in wollongong for bout 18mths n finding it difficult to make friends so i thought i should give here a go

Im not currently living in the Illawarra (so probably not much help) but I am from the Illawarra and still have my place there... if that makes sense lol.

Where you from and what made you want to move there??

im from sydney i moved down here beginning of last yr cos my bf (and childrens father) lives here were still together but not many of his friends have kids n there mostly older than me i sometimes go to a couple of young mums groups but often the other girls are much younger or jus on a totally diferent level

Aww thats tough :hugs: makes it hard to feel at home in a new place. I don't know if it ever changes I still find at 28 that a lot of my friends still don't have kids. The ones that do generally are a lot older or younger. Ironic haha
I never had much luck finding a good playgroup when I was in Wollongong someone else might be able to give you a better idea or try the playgroups NSW website. I thinks it a case of trial and error...

yeah iam thanks miss mack iam trying to organise a meetin this sat at playdaz if u are interested its in another thread,
iam also from sydney and just moved down here just over two years ago now and have found it hard to meet new people also.,

so yeah i try on here to meet other people and another website aswell taht i see u have joined and that iam on aswell called eb which is really good to meet mums from the illawarra area

we all should post our email addys and have a chat if everyone has hotmail/msn and meet up more as it seems there is a few lonely people out there and you can never have enough friends and no one wants to be lonely
