Baby Shower Invites

I am organising a baby shower for my best friend and am wondering how to word the invites. Any good ideas greatly appreciated:D

Hi! I actually wrote my own baby shower invites! lol. I didnt really have anyone to organise a shower for me, so I threw myself one and had it at my Mums place and everyone had to RSVP to her... If I'd have left it to the devices of my friends and family it would have never happened! lol.

You are invited to celebrate the upcoming birth of (persons/couples name) first child! Please join us at ................................. on the 14th November for some friendly chit chat, fun games and lots of laughter and gossip! Please bring a smile and your super fun attitude! What better way to celebrate the impending birth of a much loved child!

hi, i just brought invitations from a newsagents for mine,they had a cute picture on it but were quite boring with just mainly the details on it,but it did the job for me! A friend of mine typed in "printable baby shower invitations" on her web browser and heaps of cool sites came up and she chose a few different ones,some funny or cute & some boring!i was worried that people would think mine were boring but no one said anything! good luck & I'm sure whatever you do will be cool!(People will probably only worry about the main details anyway,who for,when,where etc):o
