You should always follow the instructions and not add any extra scoops it can make bub very ill

Yeah, like charleesmum said, you shouldn't give more scoops without increasing the amount of water cos it can make bubs sick, cause constipation etc.

I think you can get a special 'thickner' for formula :detective: Maybe check at the chemist?

How old is bubs? I didn't read your signature.

You should only make formula up as directed on tin, you can cause constipation and alot of health problems.
Maybe try more milk? As opposed to more scoops.

Just occured to me, your bub is over six months because of the formula you stated in OP.
Maybe try increasing solids to satisfy hunger.
 Good luck

definatly stop doing that, most formula's are either a 1 scoop to 50mls or 60mls, work out what your scoop to water ratio is and just add more water with that extra scoop

Never change the concentration of the formular, it can cause dehydration, constipation and other things

and like rowiechb said, maybe increase solids if needed

Thats what i have been doing. I have added 50mls extra with one extra scoop. I wouldnt do it if i thought it would hurt him in any way...

AAaaaahhh ok - so what you want to know is how many mls other bubs are having? Right, now I get ya ;) We just always made sure there was milk left over in the bottle, like if we were putting 150mls in a bottle and he drank the lot, then we'd put 200mls in the next one. We did this up until he reached the 250ml mark and rarely gave any more. If he doesn't seem satisfied, maybe try giving him more solids through the day?
