My lil man is sick again. here is the link to the last story about his trip to hospital (hospy)

we took him back to the hospital on saturday night. his temp wasnt high, but he was very hot to touch, he was just soo blah IYKWIM. he wouldnt let me go, he had to sit on me all night, i was at my mums for a clothes party. he wouldnt even go to my mum, he loves her- more than me some times i think.
so when DF came to pick us up i said that i want to take him to the hospy now.
we got there and had to wait 15 mins to see the triage nurse and then a hour to see the doc. once we got into the emergency ward, we were the only ones in there. the doc that we seen was fantastic. he sat down in front of me and asked me sooo many questions, and he explained each question and why he was asking it. he looked in his eyes and his ears and also took his temp again, with the most amazing thermometer-just a point and shoot one .
his temp was 38.2 by that time. they put a pee bag on him and they couldnt do much until he wee'd in it. so he ended up falling asleep and they decided to put the monitor thingy on his finger, as he was screaming when they tried earlier. it showed that his oxygen levels were down to 89%. he was then put on an oxygen machine to try and bring it up. it eventually got up to 98%. after 3 hours, he still hadnt pee'd despite having a full bottle. so they called in the radiographer for a chest xray. so we did that and they came back clear, or so we were told. so we gave him some water to try and get him to pee. this worked a treat, with in 2 mins he goes 'mum weewee.' :yelclap: so they collected the sample, ran some more test and they came back clear as well. so the awesome doctor explained that it has ruled out a bacterial infection and that it is most likely a virus that has either resurfaced due to previous illness or one he caught due to his immune sytem being down. so we were told to keep doing what we were doing, nurofen and fluids and keep a close eye on him. and we were then sent home at 230am.
yesterday we got a phone call from the hospy telling us that they went back over his xrays (not sure why) but it turns out that he has bronchitis. :banghead: why didnt they pick this up when we were there was it like it appears after a few days on the xrays?????
any way i have just taken him to the docs for a checkup, we got his report- "suggesting bronchitis and bronchopneumonia!!!!!The doctor has given him someantibiotics to help loosen some of the **** off his chest. :smiliedance:
now i am just hoping that this is the end of his sicknesses and we can all go back to living healthy normal lives.
