Morning people with tiny bumps growing!! Another day of nausea. Woke up so hungry in the middle of the night but the thought of getting up and eating was horrible. I'm starting to lose a bit of weight because I just can't face food some days (just a kg or 2 nothing dramatic). Do you think this is ok or should I be forcing myself to eat more?
Liddy - I'm feeling for you at the moment. I want to tell you to stop all contact with your DP for a while so he realizes what he is missing and gets his act together. But I know that is much easier said than done and you must really feel like you need his support at the moment. I hope things work out and he comes to his sense very soon. :hugs: to you!!
well Playschool just finished so I'll have to be off and do something with my girls. Happy thoughts and food in your tummy to the ms crew. Hope today is a good day.

noahsmum - He is such a beautiful little man... I am exactly the same every pain, when i don't wake up and feel sick it all freaks me out. 8 weeks tomorrow wahoo for you. I am 9weeks tomorrow and i can't wait for the 12weeks to be over, i know it might sound silly to some but 12weeks is a milestone for me...
Kath - I totally agree. My friends have always laughed at me with changing nappies, i have a weak stomach and poo nappies make me dry reach as it is, my mum thinks it will be different with my own. God i hope so.
kristi - You sure sound excited... How did you scan go???
Tybean - I am the same i have been living off hot chips with gravy, i am eating them right now! lol... you poor love, i feel the same about my weight, i have heard you look a bit bigger with your second and you put on more weight if you are carrying a girl.. Maybe its a little girl. I keep telling myself the same "its all worth it"... I was reading in Pregnancy and birth and they said that a hairy tummy means having a boy is a myth.
Shereejoy - Big Hugs to you, i wish you all the best and hope to hear from you. Look after yourself:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
SSU - Sorry i don't think anyone has meant to ignore you... I was on your wave yesterday, what a rollercoaster ride

Ok well I am back from my U/S....
Oh soooo confusing !!!! :o they pushed my due date back to the 25th April but I dont know how that could be cause I am 99.99% sure when I O'd as I was using OPk's and temping..but I guess the doc will tell me for sure on Wednesdsy when I take the scans back to him...
I personally think I am still due the 15th and probably having another small bubba..with DD's due date the scans always said I was 2 weeks be hind what I knew I was.
Oh well the main thing is there was a very nice strong little heart beat in a nice sized little sack and bubba looked about the size of 1.5 Jelly beans put together...:D !!!!!
That was sooo cool..but I am not feeling so good having to hold that water in has set off my MS :barf: !!!!
So I am going to head off and I wont change my due date till Wednesday till I have seen the doc...so its either 7.5 weeks today or 9 weeks ????
I saw my baby I saw my baby WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO !!!!
Yes KristyD I have been having those pains off and on too ((((HUGS))))
Hey sweets haven been on since thursday been a bit busy. Plus I am bearly functioning I find it soooo difficult to sit up. I am exhausted more than I have ever been in my life. I threw up on Sunday hmmmmm yuck.
Is anyone else struggling to pay the right amount of attention to there kids?
I can feel the bump now when i sit in some positions. I have also had a few twinges that feel like lil kicks but not sure.
DS 2 was up twice last night screaming with his teething oh so fun.
Kristi- My waters broke with both when the bubbas hit bout 3 kgs so I really think the pattern may continue. Though my sisters' MIL could not carry girls to term but could boys.
well I am gonna head as both the boys are asleep and I need sleep to. Just wanted to pop in.

Good afternoon all!!
Well, Kristi, you are so lucky!! I've just made a doc appointment for Friday morning so that I can hear little ones heartbeat, not worried about the dating scan as yet, I'll have the nt scan in October anyway!! Gee, so you are nearly just the same as me then!! You can't be, I think that your dates are right not theirs!! anyway, who cares, bubba all good and healthy so that's all that matters!!
SSU - I get ignored too luvvy but it's my fault, I don't post often enough and everyone forgets about me!! lol!! It's all good, I need to get on here more often and post! I read everyday though!!
Sheree - Big hugs luvee! All the best for the future whatever it may hold for you!
Liddy - I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through!! It must be very hard as this is supposed to be such an exciting time for both sides and your other half is making it quite difficult for you!! Just ease up on him maybe, there is no point in pushing him into something that maybe he just isn't ready for just yet. Give him a little breathing space and he will hopefully come around for you!! Vent anytime, we are all here for you!!
KristyD and Tybean - This is my third and I just feel like a right Dik with my tummy popping out so early but basically your body already knows what to do this time around so it just starts off on it's own!! cherish it, when you give birth and it's not there anymore, you'll miss it! I just had the 'flab' look for these first few months!! Which reminds me, must post an update belly pic!! Where are all of yours then????? huh huh??
To anyone I've missed! HELLO!! Hope all is well, won't be long not til the ms should hopefully subside for you all!!
Well, I'm off out for lunch on this beautiful sunny day!! Have a good one and I'll talk to you all later!!

You know Kristi, I have it on very good authority that 25 April is a fantastic due date ;) . Congrats on seeing your little bubba!! Woohoo!!
SSU - I'm like you. I often feel like I'm ignored but, unlike you, I think it's my own fault. I rarely post and when I do, it's all about me. And I also know a thing or two about hormones at the moment. Did I mention today that I cried while watching The Wiggles singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on Sunrise? I was crushed because my very clever little DS likes to do the actions and he didn't get to see it because he'd already gone to daycare.
Tybean - I'd like to tell you not to stress about the weight thing or whether you're having a boy or girl, but then I'd be a hypocrite. I vowed I was going to be really careful last pregnancy, then I totally blew everything out and put on 30kg. :o And DP and I would love a girl, but at the moment I'd be happy no matter what we have.
KristyD - I get little niggly pains all day long. Kinda like AF pains, but not as intense. Its just things moving around to make way for that baby of yours!
OK, so my update: I went to the docs and he wasn't too concerned about this latest round of spotting. Thinks its related to the last round and that it might happen again before it goes away entirely. He's taken some more bloods just to double check my hcg levels but doesn't seem that worried.
On a  note for me (because I like to go to work), I'm not allowed back at work until after my next ultrasound, which isn't until next Tuesday. Obviously I'll be following the doctor's orders because I care more about my bubba than my job, but I still felt bad when I rang my boss to tell him. Luckily he was wonderful. Phew!!

sorry if anyone feels ignored :hugs: I don't have time for big personals yet, but I do read every single post
KristiD, I get these pains and freak out. No bleeding though :fingerscrossed:
KristiH - fabulous for a good heart beat! I'm not sure how accurate early ultrasounds are. I know my last AF was 7 July and I o'ed 2 weeks later but 3 days isn't that big of a deal in my case. When did you do your first test? Hopefully you are 9 weeks so we can stay with the same EDD!
Bex - same position with struggling with the baby. I'm so glad he is at the age he can entertain himself most of the day (ie chase the cats around). I don't feel guilty turning on the TV - I need to save my sanity!
big :hugs: to all the pregnant mummas!

Kristi - Good to hear things went well, I wouldn't worry to much my due date has changed 3 times already and i am guessing it will change again at the 12week scan. I have been told to go off the 12 week scan as it depends on the babys growth. I did IVF and was given a date and at my 6week scan bubs was 6weeks and 3 days then when i went for a scan at 8weeks bubs was only 7weeks and 4days so i am guessing it will change again. Thats it as long as there is a strong heart beat thats all that matters. What was Bubs heart beat per min?
youngmum3 - There is no way i will post a belly picture of me, i am still quite bloated from IVF and bloated from being pregnant i could pass as being 4months at the moment. You won't be seeing my belly pictures for awhile
Kath - Make sure you get plently of rest you and bubs need it rest up and take care. Thats great your boss is so understanding
Ck - Yeah no bleeding, i am counting down the 12weeks and i am sure i will have something else to freakout about!
Hello to everyone else. As for me i am leaving work now and i am looking foward to my nap on the train.... Have a nice night

Kristi, I found this for you
How accurate is the ultrasound examination?
The earlier the ultrasound is done, the more accurate it is at estimating the baby's due date.
Ultrasounds performed during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy are generally within 3 - 5 days of accuracy. The most accurate time is between 8 and 11 weeks gestation. This is because the fetus is growing so quickly that there is a big difference in size from week to week. Also the fetus cannot bend and twist too much yet, so the length of the body is fairly constant.
However, the accuracy of the ultrasound examination is always dependent on the skill of the sonographer and the quality of the equipment.
The scan or my dates - which should I believe?
Usually the expected date of delivery (EDD or EDC) is calculated from your last menstrual period if the early dating scan calculates the EDD to be within 5 days of the EDD from you last menstrual period.
The EDD from the early dating scan is used if the last menstrual period is not known or is unreliable, or the dating scan differs from the last menstrual period dating by more than 5 days.
As the baby gets bigger, they start to express their individual growth potential. The size of the baby correlates less and less with its age as time goes on. Utrasound examinations from 12 to 22 weeks are regarded as being within 10 days of accuracy (or up to 10 days earlier or 10 days later than the woman's calculated due date).
Ultrasounds performed after 22 weeks gestation cannot be used to estimate the due date of the baby because the size no longer reflects the age very well. Even average babies can differ by up to 2 to 3 “weeks of growth”. These scans are only used to estimage the due date of your baby if this is all you have to go on. If you have more than one ultrasound during your pregnancy, giving you 'multiple dates', then the earliest ultrasound estimate should be used, because it will be more accurate.

You know Kristi, I have it on very good authority that 25 April is a fantastic due date ;) . Congrats on seeing your little bubba!! Woohoo!!
Hehehe...I am sure it is a great due date !!!! It was great seeing bubba but for me those dates just cant be cause I when I O'd!!!!!
Well, Kristi, you are so lucky!! I've just made a doc appointment for Friday morning so that I can hear little ones heartbeat, not worried about the dating scan as yet, I'll have the nt scan in October anyway!! Gee, so you are nearly just the same as me then!! You can't be, I think that your dates are right not theirs!! anyway, who cares, bubba all good and healthy so that's all that matters!
Thats right dates dont really mean much do they and it was very happy active little Jelly Bean I must say !!! I cant believe how good and strong the heart was at such an early stage !!! How exciting for you too..I would have been happy just to hear the heart beat but obbiously seeing it was a huge bonus !!!
Kristi- My waters broke with both when the bubbas hit bout 3 kgs so I really think the pattern may continue. Though my sisters' MIL could not carry girls to term but could boys.
I am thinking I will repeat the same pattern too !!!
LOL CK I think the doc will keep my date the same cause my last AF was the 10th July and I tested at what I thought was 10DPO because DH was going away that day and got a + HPT..but if I am due the 25th then I should have been Oing the day I got my BFP and DH was gone then too so that just doesnt add up !!!

Thanks for remembering this hormonally challenged pregnant possum!
It's been a many tear day - glad it's almost over. I get to see the cause of all this emotional hysteria next Monday - that will make it all worth while.
KristyH -glad your scan went well. I like the saying "babies are born on their birthdays".
Bex & CK - I'm with you both on struggling with my other children at the moment. We've had two ABC kids session pretty much everyday! I'm lucky my dh is great with them when he's home. He has just emptied the dishwasher and washed 3 days dishes with dd(3)'s very helpful help! Our dishwasher decided to break down yesterday and I can't handle the smell in there!!!

Hi Ladies
Yes I have to apologise that I don't get time for many personals often as I work full time and have just enough time to do a quick read before picking up Gem.
But I do want to say huge :hugs: to you Sheree. I'm also so sad that you're leaving this thread, we will definitely miss you here. I'm praying that you guys get your beautiful bubba #2 real soon
I had a shocking day yesterday where I was completely wiped out for about 3 hours. I started feeling sick so I layed down on our couch and seriously couldn't get up for ages. I think sometimes the fact that I work full time and keep on the go is a good thing! If I stop at the moment...........I really stop
I'm so glad he is at the age he can entertain himself most of the day (ie chase the cats around). I don't feel guilty turning on the TV - I need to save my sanity!
Cheezalkat u are so lucky my DS1 lasts ten minutes max with the TV and he is going through a clingy stage so if I try lying on the couch he tries to get under the blanket , climb all over me or kiss me and his nose is like a tap at the moment green number elevens down to his lip in seconds.
Kristi when I got my scan done they said I was less along like my EDD would be the 13th but in the report they gave me the 9th.
missus s lol its soo good to here other people having shocking days. Not that I wish on anyone:laughing: . It's just good to know im not the only one.
SSU lol don't worry sweet im just as hormonal its just my poor DH who cops it all. Good luck on the scan.
kristyD Go the nanna nap on the train. lol just make sure u wake up before ur stop or ull end somewhere between whoop whoop and the black stump.
KDK kids love cats cause they react well and always run. My DS1 absolutely cacks himself and thinks its great fun.
YM3 we don't ignore u we just all have pg brain and can't remeber what was posted 2 minutes ado hahaha.
Well I got a nap today. Do a lil dance dodidodido hehe.
Everyone can u send me some DS2 sleeping through not waking up screaming with teething vibes. lol CHEERS.

He doesn't chuck whammies though, lucky there, but just constantly complains that he's 'bored'! That doesn't just happen when they are 2, sorry!! lol Look forward to hearing your report tomorrow!
KristyD - Oh, come on!! all bellies are great!! Mine is bloated and disgusting, full of stretch marks too luvee, I've overcome that now! There are so many people in the same boat and I figure, I'm proud of what's inside and I want to share it with the world! COME ON, Be a MUG!!! Kristy, kristy, kristy!! LOL
CK - that's great that info, we can all take a bit from that!
Hazellew - Congratulations and welcome to the wild world of April Thread
Bex - oh yeah, the preggie brain, Hhmmm.....I feel really stupid sometimes, least we've all got something to blame it on now though!! lol
Rnjboyce - Oh, I felt really sick yesterday as well. It wasn't until about 5.30 in the arvo that I thought, I need to force something into my stomach as I hadn't eaten a thing all day. As soon as I ate something, bang, I was fine! so I know now, no skipping meals, I'm so used to doing that though, so naughty! So, that's my form of all day sickness really, need little snacks throughout the day!
MissusS - Oh welcome to the world of pregnancy hey!! I'm so tired at the moment and can't control it! I just keep going til night time though because if I sit down, that's it, I don't want to get up again!! Take it easy, you'll be fine soon.

Hi to all
I have been very slack with posting lately. I'm sooo tired. I read all the posts though and its great to hear everyone is traveling along pretty well.
Sillysideup - oh those awful hormones! They make us feel yuk. I have lost a couple of kg too, as I feel to sick to eat, especially at night. My doc said to keep up the fluids and eat what you can. Just make sure you are taking a preg vitamin to supplement the lack of nutrition from food.
I am feeling a little :gloomy: today for no real reason. Must just be the hormones. I have another urinary tract infection :banghead: I hate taking anti biotics and worry it will effect bubs! Its probably not helping my mood.
Not too nauseas today, always worries me a bit. Bring on the 12 week scan.
Take care

CK - Oh, we are all waiting for that 12 week mark. Every niggle I get I panic! I'm getting like a funny tearing feeling right up under my left rib! Weird feeling, nowhere near my bubba so it should be fine!! I'm going to the docs on Friday though to hear the heartbeat for the first time!! Just want that assurance that everything is ok! Gee, we are all going to be this barrell of happiness once we all start getting over the 12 week mark! We'll be like happy little bouncy belly people! lol
Well, as for me! I think that I'm getting a bit of the sickness at night though!! I can't stand the look or smell of food at night time and I start getting lumps in my throat like I want to chunda! I'm getting really slack with eating as I was saying yesterday but by the time dinner comes around, I don't want any.
Is anyone else having troubles with their (.)(.)'s?? Mine are just so unbearably painful, it's waking me up during the night all the time as when I want to roll over, I have to wake up and hold my (.)'s and ease them back down! lol, they are just so sore! Are you all experiencing this?? I don't remember them being this sore I can tell you!
:sleeping:That's for some rest
:hugs: That's cause I luv ya's all
:)That's to keep you happy today
:hair: That's just in case you need it for those with the 2 year olds!!
:smiliedance:That's just from me to say 'YAY, we're UTD'
Hey gorgeous girls.
Littleone- go out and get some cranberry supplements. I have a huge prob with urinary tract infections. I used them all threw my last pgs and they do wonders. They stopped me getting them in the first place. Oh and TMI but when u go wee after u have finished sit for a lil longer and try get a bit more out. The doc ses this helps as ur tubes are relaxed and hold a lil bit of left over pee in em which cause the infection.
YM3 lol my prob with my boobs is there toooo big. U try find a bra thats a F-G that has a normal sized back on it. I may be carrying weight but i sure don't need one u would need a boomerang to put on.
Krist H wouldn it be nice if the housework would remain done for longer that it takes for u to turn away and look back. My DS1 follows me round pullin stuff out as I put it away.:hair:
Kristi D yay ur scan is sooo close now.

CK - I hope you're ok honey. I saw in another thread that you might have an answer for this pain. :fingerscrossed: you get it sorted out soon.
BronnyGrace - damn I wish I saw your post earlier! Will you be on same time tomorrow? I just have to tell you, I love your idea of the maxi dress. Thought I'd give it a crack with my last pregnancy. Unfortunately I don't have the ah, necessary height, to pull it off. I walked out of the change room and my DP was in hysterics :D .
Congratulations Hazel!! Nice to see another name to add to this growing list. Wahoo!!!
YM3 - I can't believe it but I'm not having any (.)(.) trouble at all. They just feel normal...
KristiH - OMG. No chocolate? It's the only thing getting me through at the moment. I'm going to sound like an utter pig, but I feel absolutely rotten today. I got up this morning to help DP get my little man off to daycare (since I'm supposed to be at work today) then got back into bed. I have only just gotten out of bed and dressed. I've had two little naps, two little cries and I've been lying there sipping soda water from the bottle and eating tiny little pieces of chocolate... :o
I'm still glad that I feel sick though. Means that everything is still happening as it should be :smiliedance: .
It was DPs birthday yesterday and his parents came down from Newcastle for dinner. They don't know yet that I'm pg (we're waiting until we have the absolute all-clear) and it was really hard not to tell them. Especially as they're Chinese and had brought some very smelly and not-so-nice things to have for dinner. Luckily my little man chucked a tantie so I whisked him off for a bath. But I swear I can still smell it :barf:

Kristi - Sheree truely sounds like an amazing person. When you go through a loss it is hard having people to talk to makes all the difference. When i went through my MC i had a friend i relied on heavily then after my EP it shattered me and i had no where to turn until i found this website. I think being able to talk over threads like this really helps i know in myself that i tend to share more on bubhub then i do with my girlfriends. It is extremely hard to loose a baby but as my friends keep telling me it has made me a more stronger person, i don't see it sometimes. I ended up getting a tattoo to remember my babies, if i can figure out how to upload pictures i will send you a picture of mine. Yep every day i watch my portable DVD player then just listen and drift off to sleep lol... I love my choccy on the train on the way home. :hugs:
Can anyone tell me how to up load pictures?

Kristi - Great news with your scan results. Your baby might be an Anzac Day baby!
kristyd - best way to upload a photo is go to photobucket.com and upload your piccy's there, and then post the link
youngmum3 - I think it was you that mentioned the pain on your right hand side ribs..........I had that too and it was so painful.
Sheree - we'll remember your angel babies on our list :hugs:
I didn't really have any sickness today which has got me slightly paranoid again although (.)(.)'s still feel big so I'm not going to freak out yet.

The tiredness is the worst. I spent pretty much all my weekend in bed sleeping or lying on the couch.
And how is it that you can be so hungry and feel sick all at the same time?
Has anyone else had a craving for peanut butter? Its all I feel like eating at the moment on fresh bread.
I have to make an appointment with my GP to sort out 12 week scan, but too exhausted to drive there. It's great to hear from those of you you who have been having scans over the last couple of weeks, reminds me how nice it will be to see my little bean again.
I'm still getting to know who's who and by the time I come to write I froget what I was going to reply and who wrote what.
DH birthday tomorrow. Feel so bad because I haven't been allowed to go shopping to get him a present and I still don't know if I'll be able to stomache any birthday dinner (he isn't a peanut butter kind of guy). Ooh he's just got home and about to show me what I bougth him so I gotta go.
Hi everyone...

Bonny G - I tried to listen to your show yesterday by preggie brain couldn't cope with the tune in process. How to you think clearly enough to DJ a show??
KristyH - happy that your scan turned out well. R U feeling ok about the change in due date?
Well as for me the hormones have settled down only to be replaced by ms double fold. Yuck. I can't bear to think about the veg soup I made last night for tea - the thought makes me dry reach.
A questions for the doulas/midwives and or knowledgeable mummies to be. What is the best way to deal with preggie constipation? I've heard pear juice is gentle and effective but the thought makes me what to :barf:. (sorry I know this is tmi about me at the moment!!)

KristyD Thanks for noticing :D haha i took that on my birthday. (8th) haha he is very photogenic. he is what keeps me going when i dont feel so good with this one. Ive desided im not going to stay in the house i am going to venture outside, plus i need to get away from dh at the moment when im sick he gets moody. haha no idea why.....
SSU - Constipation is quite common during pregnancy as far as i know as the further along the more presure its putting on. So fibre, fibre, and more fibre, water and little bits of excersize to apparently help. You could always try sultanas or mixed dried fruits and its a great snack too and healthy.
Hello to everyone i have got long plus i dont feel so great again. Gees Seth is quick he was playing with a tube of bonjella. Daddy doesnt know how to put things away.:banghead: :hair: Lucky it wasnt open and mummy saw it:yes:

I just got back from the doc :smiliedance: ...I was right my dates where spot on for the 15th April :yelclap: !!!!
Looks like I am having another small bubba but the heart rate and uterus position and blood work all says I'm 9 weeks and 2 days along !!!!
So CK we are still due the same day :D !!!!
Doc is sending my hospital referals off today for me and I am starting shared care with monthly visits to my GP...my nest appointment will be in about 5 weeks though cause I am going to be in Sydney visiting DH  !!!
So how are we all today ????? Good I hope ((((HUGS)))).
I was sooooooooo sick yesterday..couldnt even keep water down :barf: was in bed soooo early but I think it did the trick cause I am feeling only slightly nauseated today so far !!!
SSU....Have you tried saltanans..they are a good natural laxative and most importantly drink lots of water.
KristyD...I have a feeling I am never going to shake this tiredness this time round but I am the same as you I am finding I am coping better in the mornings than i was a few weeks ago !!!
CK you poor chook try to keep your fluids up ((((HUGS))))
Missus S..oh those heavy boobs...mine are like supple melons  pitty I have no DH to flash them at...not that he would be allowed to touch then any way cause they are way to tender but would be fun to tease...LOL !!!

SSU - Thankfully my MS only comes in waves, i either have MS or i am nausea and dry reaching. I can't wait to be able to brush my teeth properly again lol! I was told you can take medimucil fibre caps they really help
rnjboyce - He looks so grown up in the new photo.. You poor thing why don't you go an pamper yourself you sound like you need it. I treat myself when i reach a different stage, when i found out i was pregnant i had a pedicure, when i heard the babys heart beat i got my nails done and had another pedicure.
Tybean - I am with you, the count down is on for all of us! I know there will be other things to worry about but getting past 12weeks is a big thing for me cause of my past.. It will be interesting to see how many of our dates change after the 12 week scan, mine has already changed 3 times although the first date is closest to my new date.
Kristi - Wahoo yeah 1 day after me (well so far anyways)... I was told the 14th from the IVF clinic the very first time. The bubs heart beat is nice and strong, my jelly beans heart beat was 156bpm when i had my scan at 7weeks and 4days do you know if thats ok? Gosh i feel bad for you girls who have really bad MS i guess i am luckly i am mainly nausea for most of the day and i only get a small amount of MS in the morning and at night. I am in bed at 7.30pm most nights and asleep by 8pm lol..
Has anyone reached 12 weeks yet? Does anyone else get niggling pains through the day in the belly?

I have a laugh for you all!
I bought these black pants for work ages ago which fold at the waist rather then button up. Saves seeing the fashion disaster of the muffin top lol. Well i have the size 12 on today and was wondering why i was getting more stomach pains then usual today i moved the fold of my pants off my belly to my lower belly and what a relief... After awhile i started getting lower belly pains, thankfully i have a very loose fitting top on today, why you ask well i had to unfold the fold of my pants so the top part of my pants is actually sitting underneath my bra, I'm harry highpants lol...

For your personal interest this is the stats by doc wrote out for me this morning.....
Normal heart rate at 6 weeks is 90-113 bpm and at 9 weeks is 144-170 bpm 10-12 weeks 170-200 bpm...then during the middle part of your pregnancy the heart rate will even out to between 125 - 160 bpm the average being 145 bpm !!!
 I had a giggle at your Harry High Pant KristyD...dont worry your not the only one in that boat :p !!!

I had to get my sister to buy me some medimucil the other night becuase the constipation was so bad (sorry tmi). She got me the one that has no colour or taste. I had it in some week cordial and couldn't even tell it was in there. It can also be added to food. My Natropath said that this or psillium would be fine for added fibre and to drink plenty of fluids.
I'm with all of you and the 2nd trimester coming round.

I'm not quite having to unroll them as yet but I'm sure it won't be long!! Very funny though! I fully can't stand the whole tightness around my lower belly anymore so it's becoming hard. I feel like a bit of a dork if I have to go out buying maternity already so I'm just looking around for alternatives!
Eternity - Do you find that the maternity stuff is really big?? I'm usually about a loose size 12 normally but a maternity size 12 is just massive on me!! Hhhhmmmm.......Have I forgotten how big I'm actually going to get though??? I can't wear size 12 at the moment I can tell you!! They are just huge in the bum and legs and everything and I haven't put weight on there for the last two pregnancies so I want something that is going to fit everywhere and not be baggy, hard isn't it!!
CK - Oh luvee luvee!! I just don't know what that's like it must be just awful!! I'm getting the 'arvo' sick thing going on. There is vomit sitting in my throat, lumps and all and I just want to bring it up but can't. I'm not the throwing up type of person but I tell you, I just want it up and out! I've been reading about a couple of girls saying that it's so hard being hungry and sick at the same time!! Weird. I'm finding that I'm feeling sick because I haven't eaten anything all day but the thought of eating something to make me feel better just makes me wanna puke! It's really hard, once I eat something I feel better for about half hour and then it just starts repeating on me so i can't win!! Oh well, only lasts a little while I hope! For your sake!!
sciend - I've almost got the opposite to you! I don't normally go until every 3-4 days ( I know it's bad but hey?) and now I'm going like twice a day!! Far out! talk about a clean out!! It's good, meaning that I'm keeping up my fibre I suppose. I"m eating multi grain bread too so maybe that's doing it. But I also find that taking folate makes me go more often too!! Hope that you're 'plumbing' is unblocked now!
Hi to everyone else!!
I'm going out for lunch soon!:smiliedance: Food!! :barf:sorry girls! I'm getting it in before I start feeling gross! I'm going to my friends for dinner as well today so big food day, I hope that I can handle it!! lol
I'm so imagining feeling little flutters down below I tell you! Normally I feel the flutters and then pop-off:laughing::laughing: but not lately!! Oh, let me imagine, we all can, it's all good! My belly is so going outwards already, gotta luv that third pregnancy!! Only 3 more days til I'm off to Melbourne to see my mummy!! Can't wait, I'm so excited, she has already started knitting the baby a cardigan!! I'm like MUM, no knitting already!! It's 2007 not 1897!!!! Oh she loves it and on little girls the cardies she makes are just beautiful! Just not on a boy that's all!!
Well, I hope that everyone starts feeling a bit better, oh, sorry a lot better and they can get on with their day!!
I'll check in with you all later!!
xxxx:hugs:

Hi all, thanks for all the suggestions on the non poohing front!! (what a delicate subject!!) I've been to the supermarket bought my tins of pear juice (and had 2.5 glasses) and have been snacking on sultana - now just awaiting some results . If this all fails I'll be off to the chemist tomorrow.

Hiya,
rnjboyce - your ds is gorgeous! What a cutie. I just updated my pic too, I realised it was almost 12 months old!
kristi H - you poor thing :( Sound like you are really suffering with the awful m/s. I just feel constantly seasick, and worse as the day goes on, I think tiredness. I hope you start to feel better soon, and just think, you must have lovely high hormone levels supporting that growing bub.
sillysideup - someone told me that kiwi fruit are excellent for getting things moving. I am tempted to try but everytime I look at one I feel too ill to eat it! Maybe that flavourless metamucil is the go.
Kristyd - lol! My grandmother has taken to wearing her pants like that all the time lately. It's so funny, but I'd better not laugh cos we may end up matching. Your sense of humour is going to serve you (and all of us) very well throughout this pregnancy!
ym3 - my mil has started knitting too. I am still hiding the stuff she knitted for my dd as the poor woman has NO IDEA about colour combinations. She is a great knitter and crocheter and makes some really cute things, but OMG, the colours! I even bought her some wool last time thinking it would help but she couldn't help just adding some of this and that as a 'contrast'
I have had a #*&$ of a week! I am super tired all the time, starving and then dry retching after two mouthfuls of anything, dd has had gastro for 2 days and just wants to hang off of me and we are moving house this weekend! I keep reminding myself, this time next week it will be done and I don't care if it takes a month to unpack. I reckon I need some serious retail therapy and you've inspired me to go and hunt down some new maternity stuff because dd's hair elastics as a makeshift belly belt aren't stretching enough :p Take care lovely preggie ladies xo

Freyasmuma - Just wanted to say I love your daughters name - simply beautiful.
BG- glad to hear you are feeling better - give me hope that things will improve in 3 weeks.
On that note I just had the most violent chuckup. It was terrible - right into the kitchen sink. Afterwards I was exhausted .... but suddenly felt good for the first time in about 10 days. I'd forgotten what good/non nauseas feels like. What an unreal feeling!!!!

Hello sweets
Good to see everyone is still holding onto there apecial cargos.
I have had a S^&t of a night and day Bailey woke up screaming cause he couldn breathe through his nose. I vixed him and give him some medicine I just get him down and Ant start chucking the silly bub Is like Heave Mummymummymummy Blur mummymummymummy Heave. Im like breathe silly. Trying not to yack on him. I had to get DH up to look after him in the shower while I changed his sheets and got him some medicine. Ant comes running out naked and cold he had run from DH yelling mummymummymummy. so DH got the medicine. Then Bails wakes again wanting a bottle so I had to do that. I just settle him and Ant is crying so I bring him in the bed on a towel trying to console him at which point he turns to me and chucks all down my boobs. So back up in the shower we go again. I put him to bed with the pedialyte. This mornin after an apple ant couldn sleep, the only place he slept well was on the loungeroom floor. so we all a had nap till Bails got up at 11. Since then both ant and Bail have yacked on me and all over the lounge. The washer flooded the house and the dog ran muddy prints threw the house. All while im sick and hungry at the same time.
Sorry bout the me me me just had to vent my frustrations.

Hi dear preggy friends!
Just a quick note to wish you all a fantastic journey ahead, as I must leave you here.
Unfortunately I had a miscarriage yesterday - have been a bit suss the last few days and was confirmed yesterday morning.
Most of the morning sickness has gone but it is still lingering enough to make me feel pretty flat and quite nauseous.
Matt and I are are just fortunate to have 2 wonderful girls already.
Look after each and every one of you...KristiH - you are one special chickadee, so I wish you particularly well.
Lots of love,

Liz - I am sorry to hear your news. You sound so brave and strong. Sending you much love and happiness for the future and I agree with the others - many many hugs from your beautiful girls.
Missus s. I'm finding my ms has backed right off today as well. I've was really bad for about 10 days but today feel reasonably good. Sometimes I wonder if it depends what what awesome process is going on in our wombs. Maybe is takes more hormones to grow some beautiful little bits than others. Who knows - just a thought. I think we're all different. Don't they say 50% of women don't suffer any sickness at all??
KristyH - you are obviously in a big stretch of much bubby growing you poor thing. Big :hugs:s. Give yourself an easy day and don't do too much. It's be kind to Kristy day!!!
Guess what? I actually enjoyed my tea last night!! It was just bangers and mash (because I know the kids will eat it) but it was yummo. It'd forgotten how good it feels to enjoy food. Wonder how long this break in the ms will last. I remember about 10 days ago having a good day.:)
Have a wonderful day everyone

((((HUGS)))) Thanks girls...
I know its all for a good cause but I swear if it was a bug and not MS I would be in a ball in the fetal position rocking !!!! !!!!
I think apple juice is not a good choice of things to drink first thing in the morning..now that i have it all out of my system I am feeling much better !!!
I can understand though why those of you who dont feel sick would be worried (((((HUGS))))) really at this early stage it sucks that we have nothing else that REALLY makes us FEEL pregnant other than the nausea and vomiting..no really bumps as of yet not repetitive kicks in the ribs and belly..nothing that truely screams I AM UTD !!!!! :hair: !!!!
It will be so nice once we all jet past those first trimester dates and cruze into middle stage happy pregnantism !!! :D

Hi,
Missus S - I'm glad I'm not the only one, my EDD is the 6th and after feeling really crook all Saturday and sleeping heaps my nausea has seemed to completely settled down this week.
I'm supposed to see my GP this week for my 12 weeks scan referal but I feel stupid saying I'm scared because I feel better. I feel completely paranoid that there's is something wrong with my little bean. When I went in 2 weeks ago for a small amount of spotting he didn't offer me an u/s and told me to just take it easy, how am I supposed to still wait almost another 2 weeks to know for sure? The most fustrating part is you don't know what your rights are or who to turn to, it feels like everyone just tells you that odds are everything will be fine and makes you feel like your a crazy hyperchondriac.
Sorry had to let that out before I lost it again.:gloomy:

I've stopped freaking out this afternoon. Went to the doctors this morning and he said he could feel the start of a small bump coming out, so that's reassuring that everything is growing in there. He also used a Doppler to see if he could hear a hb. He warned me its probably too early (I'm 10 1/2 weeks) you don't normally hear til around 12. Unfortunately we didn't hear one. Amazingly I wasn't too worried, just happy there's growth in there.
I only have 12 days to wait til my ultrasound, so I'm looking forward to that. I think once I see that I might be able to let myself buy some cute baby thing :fingerscrossed:.
I just realized that I must only be 10 days of 12 weeks. Wow that is cool.

Hi again!!! I'm still in NZ freezing my butt off - especially at night...3 more sleeps until I fly home :smiliedance: Don't get me wrong it has been great catching up with friends and family, but I hate sleeping on my own!!!
I have been feeling pretty good - get a bit of dry-reaching and have had a few pimples pop up to say "Hi" but that is about the extent of it. Oh and I have popped out soooooo much!!! My friend here is 17weeks and I am bigger than her! So now I really think they put my date back to far when I had my first scan - hopefully I can book in for a second one when I get back :fingerscrossed:
I have just spent the last hour and a half catching up from waaaaay back at page 47 - sorry once I got to about 58 the skim reading kicked in so I hope I didn't miss too much.
Sooo much has happened - happy and sad, so I'm sending all of my positive thoughts to you all to try and help you along :wizard:
I won't even attempt any personals in fear of leaving people out - but you are all special and I hope everyone gets the chance to put there feet up at some stage today and realise how lucky we are to be on this journey together :hugs:
Well I'm going to go put my jacket on (that must sound so strange to you all) and venture outdoors for some fresh air, take care - and I should be back on board more frequently next week.....oh oh I have my first hospital visit at Redlands on Wednesday, YAY!!

Morning all,
First up, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Liz, this can't be an easy time for you!! We are here for you if you need us though.:hugs:
kristiH - 3Kgs!! Wow, that's a lot man!! I hope that you are keeping your fluids up though!!
NZMel - Hey, it's cold here too!! I live in Mandurah and it's only reaching like 17 degrees, still cold to me!! I'm rugging up!! Have a good last few days and safe trip home.
MissusS - I'm feeling a bit like you this morning. I don't feel pregnant!! I think that I've lost a little bit of weight though so maybe that's why. My (.)'s are still killing me and that's the only sign really now!! I was sick in the arvo for 4 days, so def felt preggers then but that hasn't happened for a couple of days. I'm going to the doctors this morning though to get referrals and I'm going to get him to check me over before I head off to Melb tom so hopefully a glimmer of a heartbeat might be on the cards.
Sciend - Wow, nearly 12 weeks, see the second trimester creeps up on us all before we know it!! I've still got 4 weeks til then!! Arrgghhhh.......
Hi to everyone else, sorry, page ran out so couldn't go back and reply to you all!! lol

Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been around much. Have been taking this 'bed rest' to the extreme and climbing into bed every time my little man goes for a nap (which is usually my computer time).
Liz, I am so sorry that you have had to go through this again. Just remember that we're all here for you.:hugs:
Missus S, I think you need one of these :hugs: . I know it's really hard at this stage to not stress, and I think it's obvious that we're all doing it too. Just try not to get yourself too worked up honey.
KristiH, I hope you're feeling better today sweetheart. I can't imagine how tough you're doing it at the moment. All I know is how much you want this bub and I'm sure that's what's getting you through.
CK, are you OK?
BronnyGrace, are you feeling better about hitting the 12 week mark yet? I know how scary it is. Our little man was unplanned, and DS and I didn't even talk about me being pregnant for weeks and weeks. The first time either of us got really excited (as opposed to peeing our pants terrified) was when we saw the first scan.
Tash, good luck for the ultrasound. Let us know how it goes.
YM3, can I come to Melbourne too??? I really feel like a shopping spree!!!!
I don't really have much to tell about myself today. Just been hideously tired and nauseous, but still no :barf: . I go for my next ultrasound next Tuesday, so :fingerscrossed: all is well and I can go back to work.
Oh, and I've also got the yucky little pimples. WTF????
OK, better go and try and get some tidying done. Hi to everyone I missed (and WAHOO!!! to everyone hitting the magical 12-week mark).
Take care.

Sure KDK, you can come with me as long as you fit into my suit case, we're all set to go!! lol I'm so looking forward to it and because I'm so tired, I reckon that this will be the first time I"ve ever slept on a plane! that will make the trip go quicker that's for sure!! Luckily my kids are the best travellers normally, hope that i didn't just jinx myself so they will entertain themselves and no doubt my ds will fall asleep as he always does when we travel!! DD has got her Nintendo to keep her occupied, and as for me !!!
Tasha - Hope that your scan goes well today and that you get some pictures to share with us all.
I've just got home from the docs. He didn't let me listen to the heartbeat, bugger him! He said, look, everything is fine and just relax! My blood pressure is a little bit low though so how funny, I had pre eclampsia with my first meaning high blood pressure and now it's low, go figure!! Oh well, he assured me that all is good so that's the main thing I guess!!
Ok, gotta do some ironing and packing but will be back later on.

Oh praise de lord it afternoon ABC kids hour!!! Go the tellytubbies and Playschool.
Bonny G - I can appreciate how you're feeling - now you're a mummy you'll be one for the rest of your life. It is a big change and lots of hard work but nothing else in life seems to compare to the reward you get from being mummy. I'm sure you'll be a great mum and your little bubba is lucky to have found you.
KristyH - how I feel for you. It must be horrible being so so sick and still having a two year old, let alone having your dh away. You are very brave and a admire your attitude.
Bex - feeling for you to with your kids so sick. How do you cope with the extra smelly nappies and sick while pregnant? I've been praying my two don't catch anything - at least until I'm over the 12 week mark. There has been a bit of a chickenpox outbreak here - but luckily we've escaped it.
YM3 - enjoy Melbourne - long flight for you. Take a trip to the zoo if you're going to be close by - its awesome this time of year.
KDN - hope things are going well and the bed rest it leaving you full of energy.
Tasha83 - hope the pear juice works for you as well as it did for me. TMI - but it feels so great to get it all out of your system. I think it was making the ms twice as bad.
NZMEL - Happy flight home and great union with dh to you!!!
MISSUS S looking forward to hearing how the Doppler goes. Don't worry to much it's completely normal to feel like you do. 99precent of us worry right thru pregnancy - and then you just keep worrying for the rest of their life. But it really is worth it.
As fore me I could drink the local water system dry. I'm feeling really dehydrated. MS is there but nothing unbearable. Very grumpy. Poor dh got a serve this am. Then I had to ring and apologize!!:o Still tired and just generally very blahhh. Nothing much seems to excite me or feel worth looking forward to. (How stupid is that I'm only growing an entire new person!!). Pregnancy tends to make me a little on the down side.
Have a good nite! SSU

Thank you lovely ladies for your thoughts :hugs: I really have gone a bit psycho after what happened last time which I suppose is natural.
Bummer that my doppler didn't get delivered this morning like it was meant to so I emailed the company to see what happened as there was no missed delivery note either. And then to top off my day I had a guy run into my car.............it sounded so bad but thankfully my car came off way better than his..............still a pain in the butt having to organise repairs now as I use my car for work everyday.
youngmum3 - have a fab time in Melbourne
KDK - your bed time sounds divine
Bex - the doppler is either $39 or $49 per month depending on if you want the heartbeat digitally displayed on the screen, plus $17 delivery I think. These machines are worth $390 or $490 to buy from where I'm hiring it (First Beats)...............but I know some people have said they've bought $40 ones from Kmart that have done the job - although not sure how early you can start using those ones.
SSU - I do have the very dry mouth thing too.............never had it with my last pregnancy so I wonder if it's a baby boy thing :detective:

Hi to all
Liz - :hugs:, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Take care of yourself.
Missuss - I would be surprised if you can hear the heartbeat yet with the doppler? I work in a hospital and have been listening for a heartbeat too. Nothing as yet, the soonest I have heard one is 14 weeks on a patient. Aim down low, around your pubic line. Don't be worried if you can't hear anything.
Pear juice is excellent for constipation. Beats any other remedy.
I feeling a lot more energetic today, still nauseas and hungry though. Even went shopping for the first time in weeks. Had to buy new pants as only one pair fit me! Oh, and I had to buy the cutest little jumpsuit with "I love Daddy" on it! DH loved it.
Hi everyone,
I haven't forgotten you all - this week has just been a little hard as DS has been sick with croup (so scarey!) and none of us are getting a lot of sleep.
Still battling with the fatigue but now I don't know if it just because I am not getting enough sleep!
Elizabeth - so sorry to hear about your loss. GIve your girls some extra cuddles.
I will try to catch up more on posts etc over the weekend and see what's happening.
FYI: we heard DS heartbeat at 9 weeks at the Ob with a doppler, loud and clear!
wow $39 a month thats quite good I thought it would be more. I might wait a month or i will send myself nuts it I cant find it lol.
I just hold my breathe when dealing with the sicky kids.lol not that it really works I dry reach alot. I found the best option is just strip him and chuck him in the shower if hes been sick or the poo is really bad. Oh and I have towels ready to catch ne sickys it means less clean up u just chuck it in the wash. Though my washing machine and dryer may go into meltdown. lol
Any suggestions on prams I need a double that can take one of those sit a go seat trailer thingys.

The company advertises that you can use it from 10 weeks so if it's no good from 11 weeks when I get it next week I'll be complaining and asking for extended time. My friend is a midwife and she said we should be able to find it at this stage too but she'll come over and do it if I get stuck.

I dont know why and my hubby has no idea why too. Id love for someone else to tell me why  And i dont want my life to be on bubhub with cyber friends even though u ladies are quite nice. haha i would be nice to meet u all as well. Anyway enough on that Seth is eating a whole weekbix with some apple and peach fruit pureed in with full cream milk. He's loving it. i know hes not 1 yet but he has been having it in his cereals for 2 months now. But he did the most horrible :barf: last night DH said he knew he was sick so he fed him milk! WTF if he is sick give him water and then it wont look as bad. but he was smily afterwoods and went to sleep with some water and then the rest of his formula bottle 60mls. And he only woke up once as 5am!!! WTF how on earth does that work.haha i love ya Seth
Baby front - i did take a pic on my tummy and will try and put it on photobucket coz most of you girls have already done it. Yesterday i had really sore (0)(0) im going to try and find one of my maternaty bras so its not so restricting. Today i am feeling really well. hopefully it will last while im at work. :fingerscrossed:
How is everyone else feeling? Sorry for no personals this morning will try and do them tonight.

 Everyone!!
I had my U/S yesterday! and it went FAB! Got to see the little bean and when we did it was like this huge wave of excitment came ove me! I didnt get a picture though, bummer they dont have a printer so instead I get a film thingy- like xray- so thats pretty cool I still get to see bubs!!!
Bubs is about 8 mm hehe!! when this bubs come out im so telling them we saw them at 8 mm!!! my due date is still the 29th of April for now but the Sonographer (sp? term?) did say with the babys current length would be 6 weeks and 6 days not the 7 weeks and 5 days I am now.. its a difference of 6 days but he also said I need to come back at 10-12 weeks when they do a more acurate dating... mmm... anyways so I might have to do a little pop into the may threads just in case
He also said that the baby had a very good heart beat - he said is a rythem he see's and measures it that way!! (as bubs is to little to hear it yet) very cool I got to see it too.. so all looks good and good. AND im not having twins hehe. Gosh feel like I learnt something new today.
I go back to the docs on tuesday to collect the film and then I dont have an appointment till the 25th of september to see the obs.
Okies enough of me!! Good morning to you all and have a wonderful fab-tastic day!!! Im off to do some shopping as everyone has eatin us out of house and home..
