Ok...so someone might have asked this before but i can't find anything, so...
Does anyone know whether you can puree and then freeze banana with a bit of lemon juice to stop it going brown? I know you can freeze them with the skins on, but i don't want a whole banana out when i'll only use a little bit....
Also, can you do the same with cooked couscous? Either whole or pureed? I've done pasta before, but the make-up of couscous is different.
In my experience, frozen pureed banana does not defrost well. Did it once, never again!
I've never tried with couscous :)

Hi Shannon
I wouldnt have a clue about banana. I usually just eat the left overs myself.:D
Couscous should be fine though.
Did you enjoy your day yesterday. How did Mackenzie go?

Thanks guys...i'll try the banana and see how it goes....Thats good about the couscous, now i can cook up a heap at a time....
Michelle, Mackenzie went fine! When i was leaving and said bye to her, she piped up with 'See you next time mum'! Whats with that?! I have now decided (due to being able to receive the child care benefit), that i'll put her in 2 days a week, on Tues and Thurs at the centre instead of family day care...she'll have more kids her own age to be with....She just loved it so much and even cried when we got home...she didn't want to leave! So much for missing her mummy :(

Thats really good that she liked it so much. But she could of missed you just a little bit.;)
We always worry about these things more than the kids do and they are always fine.

I was the one who was stumped as to what to do with myself....
