Ok, so this might be a bit crude to some but im fully interested and nothing is TMI for me.

For those of you that have conceived, how was your baby conceived? What position was it in and did you orgasm?

If this is too inapropriate, please close the thread and i appologise if i have offended any one.

As most of you know, i am a currious little bugger that loves knowing about other peoples lives because i find it so dam interesting.

Hmm....I dont know....we were like rabbits the month it happened! LOL

All I can remember was it was the month we decided would be out last month of trying for a few months (so we wouldnt have a winter baby).....I felt relaxed, in love, and happy.

when it was ovulation time we had lots of sex starting three days before and over the next week. There were certainly some o's involved to make it more fun- can't really remember position but it would have been the usual I suppose- missionary or on the side? that's about all I remember. 2 weeks later there were 2 red lines on a stick and I nearly passed out from it all happening so fast (We'd been told it could take months)...got a lovely bouncy boy to remind us of the event!

Hey well we talk about everything else don't we.

When we m/c in May we are absolutely positive we knew when it happened, as sex in our household was not a regular thing and we weren't even trying to fall pregnant at the time. So I was ontop. Wade says I took advantage of him. :eek:

Second pregnancy I am not sure, but I know when I ovulated and that day we did it the same way again, me on top. But because we were trying, we were going at it every 2nd day, so it could have been one of those and no I wasn't on top. But i still have a sneeking suspicion it was when I was ontop that ovulation day :rolleyes:

Well this is what i was told before and i think i have posted this before, anyway again for concieving after intercourse, place a coushine under hips and bum to raise you slightly pull your leg together and up to your stomache and stay like that for about 10min - 1/2 hr this keeps as much sperm in as possible. i was told this and it worked both times straight away for me.

By the way while where on the topic of sex and conception does anyone have any postions to concieve a girl?

I've heard that any shallow penetration position favours girl sperm, missionary for example. And, no orgasm for the woman:(

I think any method that involves the penis in the vagina normally works well. You could also try turkey basting, ask Ally :D

Oh - I know exactly!!!!! Waited till mid month, then rode him till we both ......... u know!!!! It's probably a girl - how are boys made??????

Oh ............ and very imporatantly it has to be followed up with a nice cold Heineken!!! I think Toohey's Extra Dry makes boys???

Believe it if you want to... we knew that we had done it that particular time... It's kinda ironic cos we tried and tried and tried for 8 months doing it all by the book and going for up to an hour at times and nothing happened and then one day both feeling very amorous and had a "quickie" and thats when it happened... We both "got there" as well... So we joke that Shelby was the best 15 seconds of our life :p

It was definitely a blokes day that day... We spent all day at a Drag Racing meet, got home, shagged for max 15 seconds and then I got blind drunk that night at my cousin's birthday party :D

At least he wasn't concieved in a GT Falcon like me

Dr Shettles 'how to choose the sex of your Baby" book says to concieve a girl - use the missionary position with no "O". I agree with nut:)

Both times we conceived DH was on top but (sorry if TMI) quite deep... Basically my knees were up against my chin... And then I propped my pelvis upright on a cushion in the hope that gravity would help...

Oh, and when you hit the big O your cervix dips up and down a lot more, picking up the little boys along the way... From memory (and a good one at that) I hit the big O before DH did (I'm such a cow for making him wait! Mwah hahaha)

I read somewhere that the best possie is the missionary with a pillow under our hips and stay that way for 20 mins afterwards! :)

Might give that a go if we still have no luck this month!

i don't always have them while havng sex but a little bit of help from DP finishes the job.
But when we did do the BDing this month i actually orgasm which is meant to be very good for those little swimmers it suck's them up.
