Ok, starting some coversation 3KidsMum  re-hashing over the thread about the August meet. It is THIS Sunday.

If you want the details please post beneath and I will do a multiple PM to those who still want to come along.

It is well worth it for a couple of hours of cheap fun. Suggest bring a blanket and some snacks :) let there be sun:)

Hi Everyone,

ATM the trains are going ahead. I will ring the lady in the morning as they are checking the track at 7am. if it is cancelled I will post on here at 8am in the morning. If there is no post on here by 8.30am then the trains are going ok and it is up to you.

Unfortunately it won't be a rug on the ground in the sun as probably soggy grass, so if you want to sit down bring a chair I guess.

Was hoping for a nice day in the sun but still the kids will enjoy it :fingerscrossed:

It was a nice day! It was great that I had an extra pair of hands too - can't remember the last time we had a family outing that didn't involve getting groceries!

And it was lovely to meet you & your DD, sk6!

Claire must just have been tired today - went to sleep in the car almost before we left the car park & then was asleep in bed by 7.30 tonight!!! I think the last time she was in bed that early was when she was about 5 months old!!

She must've enjoyed it more than she let on though, as she woke from her afternoon nap talking of trains!
