View Full Version : Playgroup in SE Melbourne
I am looking to join a playgroup in SE Melbourne. I have tried several but have not found one I really like yet. I would like one that suites my 3 year old boy but that I can also take baby Michael to.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi Megan,
If you can't find any closer I would recommend where I go. It seems to be really good and there are quite a few days to choose from if you don't like the one you go into first. They also try and match your kids up with a session that have similar ages and sex.
Megan i am starting this Thursday at a new one in Oakleigh.
I will let you know how it went :)
I too have a 3 year old and am finding it hard to find a good playgroup...Any suggestions would be appreciated...:D
I think the problem is a lot of 3 year olds go to 3 year old kinder so there isn't as much demand for playgroups.
Katrina, could you PM a contact for your playgroup?

Hi there,
I have a friend who attends a playgroup in Hampton Park and she finds it really good. She tried a few before finding this one.
Do you want me to get the details for you?

hey thanks i would love you to get the details for me! How old is your friends child? I have never been to a playgroup before - can someone tell me how it works exactly? Are the kids all different ages or all similar ages? I want my son to have more interaction with children his age!!

Hi again,
Her DD is 2 1/2 now but has been going for some time as she has a 5yo brother who also went when he was smaller. From what I know 2 would be a great age to start playgroup. I'll check the details of her group for you and send them to you via PM.
late reply sorry guys
The Oakleigh playgoup is awesome but is full and apparently has lots of names on a waiting list already !
