Silly question (warning TMI)

Hello all,

i know i might have asked this before, but i never quite got an answer.

(TMI) When me and DB have sex, its like all the sperm comes out. I dont understand as isnt it supposed to makes its way upwards. I lay down for a bit afterward but it still all comes out.

Also, is it true that if you orgasm it kills all the sperm? I mean what fun is sex if you cant orgasm.????

Just curious to what you all think.

Hey Ell - not a silly Q at all! It may seem as though all the little boys are coming out - and about 1/2 of them per ejaculation will! I think that its just cause they're so 'messy' that it seems that they are everywhere but where they should be!

Some of it might be from you too, but obviously not all comes back out otherwise people wouldn't get pregnant.

I think it's a myth about the orgasm too, I can safely say I have enjoyed making both my babies :p

Not so silly question, as when you sit up or stand up afterwards, gravity hits and it can seem like its all coming out (sorry TMI). At the point of ejaculation, about half will go beyond the point of no return (& towards the ovary for conception) and those more lazy wrigglers are left behind, for the clean up.

I haven't heard that having an orgasm lessens the chances of conception or kills sperm. I mean aside from wanting to make a baby, isn't an orgasm one of the highlights of sex?

Not a silly question. It may seem it's all coming out but it doesn't. To make extra sure I stick my legs in the air and rest them on the bed head for 1/2 hour before turning off the light and going to sleep. I've actually fallen asleep in this position!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

i thought when u had an orgasim that the cervix dips and coats it self with sperm making it easier for them to get in. could be wrong though

Sweetie, your vagina is not lined with teflon! Trust me, it DOES get in!!

And as for the orgasm killing sperm, no way. Your vagina contracting in orgasm helps draw the sperm to the right place. :)

Well, as far as I'm concerned the orgasm increases the chance of conception as bronny-jane said, the cervix does dip into the semen pool:o . What I have read recently is that orgasm increases the chance of concieving a boy, as the x sperm are killed off more quickly in an acidic environment, and orgasm makes your secretions more acidic. This is a tough issue, as I would kinda like a girl, but also I feel in my heart that a good time should be had by all to ensure the best baby possible!!!!! For the record, my son is a boy:D and the conception was fabuloso!:o TMI TMI!

Yeah it might appear as though it all comes out, but the ones that wanna swim do trust me. But as Karena said to make absolutely sure, put ur legs up for a while, I did!
