Hi Everyone,
I was so happy last week when I turned on Channel 10 at midday to find Seventh Heaven! I so love this show.. we used to watch is all the time and was so sad when it was taken off and all these great new episodes why waste them in the middle of the day and put so much garbage on in prime time! Does anyone else love it? I think I love it even moreso now that I am a Mum.. it makes you want to go out and have more kids! lol. But the only problem is each day that I watch it I always end up in tears.
I try to feed DS his bottle at 12 now everyday so we can sit and relax for a little while, but today after he had finished his bottle he was also quite happy to sit and watch it with me.. lol. But the storyline about Lucy and her baby today really hit home and made me realise that its not worth being cranky about the little things my soon to be 1 year old does (like repeatedly crawl over to the room he is not meant to be in 30 times in a row!) it made me realise dont worry about anything other than your child.. stuff the bills and housework! , dont take anything for granted and ultimately FAMILY matters!
it is such a cliche'd show at times.. but it is so nice to see such a wholesome, realistic show other than stupid shows about sea monsters, ghosts, more ghosts or crime!

I must admit I too love this show. It is pure, good and wholesome, and should be closely followed by "Touched By an Angel" or that one with the Man who is an Angel but is "quirky" (can't remember the bloomin name) ... call it the "feel good hours"!!!!!
I have missed so many episodes though, but no matter I still enjoy the individual story lines just fid it hard to keep up with those darn girls .... eg> Where is Mary??
It is alot better to see these sorts of shows than Judge Judy, or Jerry Springer.
Ooh I love this too :)
Mary is living with Carlos - who you DO get to see on the show, and has just had her baby, Charles Miguel.
I read ahead in the TV guide and Lucy has her baby on Friday, can't wait :)
Buuutttt...I"m pretty sure I also read somewhere that that is the final episode. Mucho disappointed..... :(

WHat? Its finishing again! It only just started...and it must be moving along if Lucy has her bub this week, though it could be premmy since she had those dramas yesterday....
I love it and as some of you have said, it does get a bit cliched, but its a good family show amongst all the crime/medical on now...I've watched it since it first started, though missed a few eps from this series, as i didn't know it was on!
I am loathe to think about whats going to replace it come Monday though.....

Thats terrible if they take it off! There must be more episodes available though, because when I was reading an American forum board, they said it was only axed in the States about 1 month ago.. so we must be behind by a year or so.. arent we always? lol. They told me the other day that we are 3 seasons behind them in Gilmore Girls.. how silly is that!!!!

Oh and by the looks of the channel 10 advertising I think the Ellen show is coming on.. but I have a sneaking suspicion it must be her talk show, not her old sitcom.
So Ellen Degenerate (lol :) is taking the place of beloved 7th Heaven...

How sweet was that episode! I love Lucy's character, though sometimes she can get on your nerves....She is just so funny!
Funny how we all heard the baby cry at the end, but no pushing or screaming!:p Typical TV for ya! And Savannah for a name...how pretty! A really gorgeous little baby too, though they never really look realistically newborn....
I'm so glad i didn't act like her through my pregnancies (or maybe i did and just didn't know it  ). Nobody told me, so.....

I know, I know.. something that started out being a 'I love 7th Heaven' thread has turned into a wallow of sadness! :( Poor Seventh Heaven. We should all write to channel 10 and tell them to pull their heads in! lol.

I just checked out your links Danielle....look at all the things we're going to miss! We should all boycott Ellen! :p I wanna see it all now...wonder if all these shows are on Austar or something?
Speaking of having a baby in a lift.... That is what happened in Redcliffe this week (maybe it was last week). It was in our local paper on Wed. The head popped out and the bub was crying and they were still in the lift.
Only had to go 3 floors - poor thing...
Oh, I watched the final episode today:( I LOVE it soooooo much,, didnt realise it was on :(

Basically it was about Lucy and Kevin settling into the Camden home with the new baby 'Savannah', it was so cute it showed the twins making their own lunch and they put Ice Creams into their sandwich packets etc.. lol. they were making their own lunches because Annie was so preoccupied with the baby and doing all of the jobs for Lucy whilst Lucy and Kevin slept and Kevin eagerly watched over baby Savannah at every opportunity, sleeping in the rocker next to her basinette etc..
Meanwhile who's that guy who lives with them? Well he now has the garage apartment and a girl fell asleep on his couch (she did it on purpose so she could tell her friends, she and martin slept together, but really nothing happened) So yeah, Ruthie saw this chick leave and then ''blackmailed' Martin into asking out a guy for her. Turns out this guys parents had been haranging him to go to see the Rev so he thought it was a plot. But he ends up seeing the Rev and explains his troubles, next the guys parents turn up and discuss their issues.. (Apparently this guy was raised by his grandparents because he and his parents lived with his grandparents until they moved recently) so now this guys Mum and Dad have no idea how to raise a child.. Eric suggests they all attend church.
meanwhile all of these people are coming to see the baby and Lucy is quite happy for them all to see Savannah, meanwhile Annie and Kevin are not (Kevin is always caught snoozing in his underwear!) they think Savannah is too little to expose her to so many people (and germs) Kevin and Lucy talk some more and decide they dont want to move out for a few months. Eric keeps saying 'they have to move out.. lol'
Ummm... Ruthie gets a kiss off of Vince (the guy with the problems) and eventually she and Martin come clean to Eric about 'Martins Sleepover' - Solution - Martin isn't allowed to entertain women in his apartment and Ruthie isnt able to date until Eric tells her so, but she is still happy and announces that Vince kissed her..
Im pretty certain it all rounded off neatly.. dont they always! lol. There wasnt a lot of suspense or drama in this issue, but it was just so lovely.. I cried most of the time.. as usual. If it is on pay Tv, I might get it ! lol.

I like watching 7th heaven as well and was glad to see the new episodes, I always fed bub around 12 and we watched it together. Its disappointing to see it off the air, but it's still running on foxtel so now i just have to wait for foxtel to catch up to where channel 10 finished.
Dh apparently told me that in future episodes to come carlos ends up coming to live with the camdens with the baby, but not Mary.
Anyway I suppose i will have to watch Dr Phil instead
