I thought I bought what seemed like a good buy of olive oil when I was at the shops the other day. I always buy first cold pressed virgin olive oil to do any of my cooking.

Anyway - I realised when I got it home that the oil I bought was flavoured olive oil. It's flavour is:

Oregano and sour cherry

Any ideas where I should use this oil?

I'm thinking when I do any Italian type dishes (lasagne, linguine or risotto) any other ideas appreciated

thanks,

Beany

Does the cherry note come through strongly? I'd suggest salad dressing if so (with some balsamic vinegar or quick tossed pasta (just fry off some garlic and your choice of meat, add some chives and toss through some fresh fettuccine) if not.

Nope - the cherry isn't strong at all - I wouldn't have known it was there except for reading the label.

Thanks for the suggestion Beany - I was thinking with oregano - anything Italian - as I always use oregano when doing any Italian type dishes
