birthday party ideas?

I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for party games for my sons 4th birthday?

I'm thinking
duck duck goose
musical chairs
pass the parcel

Pin the tail on the donkey (or any animal really)...

Umm there is a game where you have to keep a balloon in the air (it cant touch the ground) cant remember what its called but remember it from when I was little...

Cant think of anything else at the moment...

I will put my thinking cap on...

Pinata is just the best game ever, the kids just love it:)

Treasure hunt, stuck in the mud, what's the time Mr Wolf and the limbo they love too.

argh I hate musical chairs its such a drama you always get kids crying when they are out and moving chairs back and forth is a pain in the bleep:laughing:

I would go for musical statues instead and when the music stops the kid who pulls the best funny face gets a lolly/prize? that way you can do lots of turns and everyone gets a prize:)


What about an egg and spoon race
and putting a balloon between their legs and having a race?

I think we will do every single one of them and perhaps ditch the musical chair idea ;) .
