Hiya My name is Karen and this is my first time to Bub Hub, and also 1st time time Mum to be, at the age of (nearly 37 - Yikes) . .

My Hubby Paul and I live in Baldivis, Perth (just recently moved 2 weeks ago!) and we live there with my 2 year old cat, Harry and Border Collie Puppy, Sasha 10months old.

We are very excited about the pending birth of our new little bubs, due 4th July (on Paul's Birthday), as we have been trying for about 3 1/2 years! Lots of problems but hey got there in the end.

Would love to hear from anyone with any sound advice or just anyone for a chat really. Especially anyone from my home town of Perth.

Look forward to hearing from anyone soon ! :;) XX

Hiya again

Just wanted to quickly drop in and say thank you to everyone that replied yesterday !! It's great to find a place to have a chat, share your hopes, dreams and fears with.

I am nearing the half way mark next week and we have decided to find out the sex our baby . . I am soooo excited - I think I am having a boy and Paul thinks I am having a girl . . We'll soon find out . . Has anyone else been too impatient to wait the 40 weeks???

Looking forward to chatting with you all more soon.

Ciao Kaz xx

Hi Karen, welcome to Bubhub and congratulations. Be sure to have a look in the Bubhub information directories too, there is a huge amount of tips and links to services for new and expecting parents.

My husband and I just moved to Melbourne after 4 years in Perth. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet up with other Bubhubbers there, but I know there is an active group that meets every month or so.

We resisted finding out the sex of our baby and it was a HUGE surprise at birth. But I think it is probably thrilling no matter when you find out. Good luck to you!

 Hey there and welcome to the wonderful world of Bubhub!

You'll definately enjoy your time on here and I hope you find everyone very helpful! Be careful though, Bubhub is highly addictive and it may cause a serious lack in housework! :D
