The weather here is stupid... Today it isnt cold enough to warrent trackpants (the only long pants G has) and its too cold for just nappy (doesnt have shorts that fit)...
So can anyone give me some hints on how to make some cr@ppy make do leg warmers, just until i can get some real ones.
Fleece i have bundles of...
or any other suggestions??

Could oyu just do fleece with elastic in a case top and bottom? :)
Or would the circle be too small to sew? iykwim?
have u or DH got any long socks? If so cut the feet off and sew the raw side up with some elastic

That's great Bekk!
But now you have me inspired to make some fleece legwarmers for Evie! I think I might try. Should I just copy the width or whatever from a Babyleg

Id think so Zoe...
His legs heated up alot with just the socks so i think that the fleece would be too warm here... Im just going to get some nicer plain socks... all of mine are alittle too 'used' for his with him....

I made them! :smiliedance: How quick was that! It was so easy, just two bits of fleece, then I did fold over elastic round the top and bottoms. I'm just waiting for her to get home from Grandma's then I 'll take a photo :D
Bekky, you should look for teens knee-high socks for him.... usually they sell them for girls but at the moment I think there would be heaps of stripes, skulls, stars, not girly stuff at all.
Maybe try the sort of markets that sell cheap clothing from China? We have heaps round here and I always see funky socks

I think I did the elastic too tight. But they still work :smiliedance:
