Hi,

I am kind of new here. I used to visit this site alot and found the info really interesting but I was not a member. I am from Brisbane's south west suburbs and I was wondering if there are any mothers out there who have lost a child. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter last november but she was stillborn. I am really struggling to find people out there who have been through something similar and I have no idea where I should turn for support. I've two lovely children still with me but I am still struggling to deal with the death of my angel baby. Can anyone help or point me in the right directiong for help? Thanks you so very much for taking the time to read my post and for any help you can give.

Hi Sasi, Welcome to Bubhub.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending big hugs to you :(

There are indeed several women on here who have had to say goodbye to their precious ones, and many more who have miscarried. There is a Grief and Bereavement section in this forum, with a specific subsectiion for Losing a Child. Here's a quick link (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=159). You may want to read some of the stories there, or re-post your story for more support.

Is there anybody close to you who you could talk to if you need to? Family, friends or even a church minister? There is a list of support services and helplines available in Queensland on this page (http://www.bubhub.com.au/serviceshelplinesqld.shtml#bereavement), something there may be helpful, or some other members may have more suggestions.
