for all your clothie needs, I find bamboo flats more absorbent and they're kinder to the environment too. (and they're organic in most cases)

Thanks, I am really not keen on bamboo. No bamboo is actually certified organic so there is no guarantee of it being farmed organically & there is alot of culling of bamboo forests going on in various places around the world due to supply demand. And apart from that DD gets a really bad rash from it for some reason.... Organic cotton (certified) is much better for the enviroment that traditional cotton and can be virtually dry farmed as the soil is much better quality due to biodynamic farming. Improvement of the soil is also excellent for the enviroment. Organic cotton I find to be almost as absorbant as bamboo anyway as it hasnt been treated with every chemical under the sun as has mainstream cotton. I have also found it to last longer than the bamboo. Thanks for the link and your opinion though :) I know how popular bamboo is atm, and it definately has its benifits. **toddles off to look at the link** :)
