Horrible mother :(

I don't usually post about things like this, but this just happened and I know it is minor compared to what other people go through, but I feel just awful!

I could hear my DD whinging in the room but I didn't bother to go to her until I heard her cry. When I saw her, there was a pillow on her face! It must have fallen from the side of the playmat where I put it.

She was okay when I took the pillow off, but I shudder to think how long she was whinging before I went to see what had happened :(

I feel SO bad for her :(

These things happen your not horrible best to keep things like that away from bubs bed though in future so it doesnt happen again :) we all do things like this sometimes so dont feel bad

:hugs: It's so easy to not realise what their problem is sometimes. Don't feel bad about it - i am sure there is not one person on here that hasn't had a moment like that....DD bit DS on the head the other day while i was on the loo. Then she hit him in the time it took me to get to them as his crying was annoying her. Stuff happens - then you know not to have that thing happen again (one of them is coming with me to the loo from now on), then it will be something entirely different next time. lol.

lol that is so cute! she hit him because she was annoyed with his crying??

i am so glad my ds isnt the only one he used to hit or bite storm at every chance when she was newborn i had to have one with me permanently toilet, kitchen shower it was sooo hard!

Reminds me of when DD had to be wrapped to sleep but she was at the age where she would wrestle out of it. I went in there to check and she had it all around her neck and face! I felt bad for ages after that

So as you can see most of have these moments , your not alone thats for sure :hugs:

yesterday I was in the kitchen and DS was in the lounge room playing on his mat ... i heard him whinging, like he was annoyed, so I yelled out that I was coming and to hold on. I went in about a minute later and the poor thing had rolled into the ottoman and his face and neck were wedged up against it and he couldn't roll back!! :( I felt sooo bad, as I didn't hurry in because he just whinges like that for me sometimes but I wish I did ..... I felt awful, he looked so uncomfortable and annoyed!!!! OOPS
So yes, silly things like that do happen to the best of us, doesn't stop me from feeling bad too either ......
