View Full Version : Wording for acceptance cards?
Just trying to get the invitations together. I am also making acceptance cards for them to send back to me.
This is what I have so far:
It would be my/our great pleasure in accompanying you both to celebrate this special day.
____ number of attendants.
Please help me as I am stuck for words.

I would probably leave a space for names so that it is easier for seating etc... for example if you invite Uncle Peter, Aunty Joan, cousin Lucy, cousin Mark and little Mary saying that 3 are coming doesn't say who.. it could just be Lucy Mark and Mary IYKWIM... probably wouldn't hurt to include a bit about special dietary requirements but then again that could just be the difficult people we had to invite to our wedding.
Oh sorry I should have put they we are just having finger foods. No sit down meal at all.
