Both DH and i have received our tax returns almost two weeks ago but we have not received the $600 from centerlink for DS. We also overestimated our incomes but we havent received anything else from centerlink except for a child care benefit refund which was only $14. My question is were we supposed to tell centerlink about our overestimated income or does the tax office notify them?

You shouldn't have to tell them, but give them a call just in case. They might have sent your refund to the tax office to be sent with your tax but it arrived too late so got sent back to FAO.

Just give them a call chic - do you have the number? You'll need your customer reference number too.

We received our tax back about 3 weeks ago and we didn't recieve out FTB supplements either. I contacted Centrelink and because we have a blended family (our own kids and step children we receive part FTB for) the computer was unable to work out our entitlements and it was sent to be done manually. I was told it could take up to 4 weeks. I am still waiting for my money.

Give them a call, that's the only way to know for sure
