Holiday advice

If you were looking at a family beach holiday with five children under 8 in the group for January, would you recommend Lakes Entrance, Great Ocean Road or Mornington Peninsula as the best family friendly option??

I'd go great ocean road ~ Apollo bay area.. Its great there :thumbsup: Lots of short drives to interesting places, great parks and awesome beaches plus nice shops too

Next I would say Phillip Island :thumbsup:

Despite this lovely advice DH thinks that Lakes Entrance will be good for little kids - anyone have any input on it as a holiday beach destination?

personally I would recommend Caloundra ?? or Maroochydore?? or even Noosa ..

much better than those areas down south :p

Yeah, yeah - but those places aren't half way between here and Perth and there are other family members to consider.......

My September trip to Qld has been cancelled due to DH's departure OS, but I will be up soon.......I think!
