They are great for stash building because of the price, but I'd probably prefer to spend a bit more on something like Green Kids after you've built your stash up a bit

Thanks I'll have a look
ive got 2 pea pods nappies as well and so far dont have a problem with them. I find them quite good for the price. But as phineas id spend the bit extra and get some green kids as they are great. There will be a few of those in my stash!

My honest opinion would be..
Pea Pods are made cheaply, hence the low price tag. Definitely not one of my favourite nappies. I gave mine away to a friend.
Saying that I haven't tried the new bamboo ones, not going to either. Maybe they are different and better now. Still pretty cheap for the nappy and bamboo tri fold. I just much rather put my money towards a nappy of better quality. Who knows, you may like them. Some people do and some don't. Just like any other nappy. I hear that a lot of people use them for Daycare and what not.
Let us know what you think of them when you receive it.
with the Green kids id get the day and night trial pack as then you can find out if you truely like the nappies or not. And you also get one of each insert to try as well as a microfiber booster

You get a bamboo tri fold with it, assuming you are asking about the PP's. If you want you can purchase microfibre inserts to boost the absorbency up a bit.
I have a couple of pea pods, I actually prefer them to the green kids. Green Kids don't really fit DD all that well, but the pea pods fit her great.
Pea pods work well, I have even used them overnight a few times, with some extra boosting of course.

Yep you need to buy the inserts seperately with GK's. They are having a clearance on the Hemparoo's (hemp tri-folds) at the moment and won't be restocking, or if you prefer something slim line then get the inserts and maybe a micro booster too.
Best just to get a trial pack to start off with,
I have 3 peapods... they were the start of my stash... i dont mind them, i like the fact they were a cheap starting out nappy, i could add and extra booster if i needed too (which i always had to do - i have a heavy wetter)
But now that my stash has built up a bit after i get my nappy layby off at darlingsdownunder im going to sell them for better quality...
overall though, for stash building, great price, its a good nappy :)

Just get an insert - you can always get a booster later if you find you need it, but the GK inserts are quite large and thick so just an insert should do well

has anyone tried the bum genius or the happy heini nappies?
my workmate has one pp at the moment and she is thinking of getting more but she isnt sure of what ones.
the pp has been good (except for those teething poos) the medium is a good size becasue she bought it to trial from the time her baby girl was 3 mths.
has anyone heard of weewuns.com.au?

hi my DD (7mth old) has a peapod on right now - i find that they are quite absorbant but a little bit bulkier than other AIO's but they work ok even for naps. The Bumgenius are a better nappy although they have velcro instead of the snaps - they have just brought out v3 which apparantly is an improvement although ive only tried v2.
my favourite nappy is the BITTI D'LISH AIO from the itti bitti nappy co. They are so trim and fit under clothes better, dry quickly and look so cute!!
Good luck this gets very addictive...

Not one of my favs, but cant complain for the price. I have the bamboo trifold ones and use the trifold in my other pocket nappies. I do think its worth spending a bit more and getting a better nappy. Like the above Itti Biiti D'Lish are my favs and make up most of my stash (46 nappies and still going :shame::o)

I started my supply with Pea Pods (bamboo ones are great - hemp pretty much leak after one wee for us). They are a great budget nappy an I love them for night time use cause I stuff them stupid with a bamboo trifold and boost with a terry cloth. It's bulky but effective for my piddler.
If it's pockets you are after then I would agree that GK's are very effective. They do cost a little more but are a great going out nappy.
Best thing is to try and see if you like them. Some of the nappy sites have trial packs of about 6 different nappies, give them a try and you'll figure out what works best for you (pockets, AIO, etc).
