4 years... 3 months... and 8 days of changing nappies and I have just changed my very first cloth nappy:smiliedance:

I wish I knew about MCN's when I had DS 1, even just the benefits of cloth nappies in general.

A big thank you to all the bubhub MCN using mumma's that have helped convert me:yelclap: :)

I know, I can't believe that his skin felt completely dry, I even made Dh come and feel it I was so amazed! So much drier than the huggies sposies:yes: The microfleece inner felt completely dry too, I had no idea it would work so well:yelclap:

Not yet:o

I brought some BBB's and covers. I just used them with a MM mircofleece liner from the stash I got from you:D

We finally moved into our house over the weekend so I can buy a new sewing machine now:smiliedance: Then I can get started on making my own. I've ordered some more MM fleece from the U.S as well so I'll have lots to make. I'm waiting on my Snaps bamboo fleece to arrive too so that I can make some inserts. Until it does I might just use some terry flats that I have that I used to use as spew cloths.

Hay J'Dore

I have just received my first lot of BBB's today. I'm about to prewash them all so I won't be using them until tomorrow night probably.

But I was wondering, what did you use to boost at night to keep bubs dry ?
I have in mine to use the microfleece liner, the small booster that snaps in the back and the larger booster that snaps in the front, folded in half and the PUL cover.
Is this enough or do you think I need something else ?
DS is a fairly heavy wetter at night.

I brought a mircofibre cleaning cloth from the reject shop for $1, fold it into 3 and lay that in first after the mircofleece. (give it a wash or a wet or two before using it, it dries super fast though.)

My bub and his clothes stayed dry but the inside of the PUL cover felt a little damp, but not on the outside.

Good luck:thumbsup:
