Really need anyones help/advice...
So as you all probably know my hubby, baby and I all moved to Perth, we have now been in our home for two weeks and slowly my NEWBORN is getting these little lumps on his face now at first I thought they were just baby blemishes. But now I'm sure that he is getting bitten by something, as he has these little spots on his head and some on his arm and back. This isn't a rash as the ones on his arm and back are just one or two but the ones on his head and very close together and 5 - 10 in a group. It is really stressing me out to put him to bed and know that he is getting bitten.
I would like to get someone out to fumigate (sp) but not really sure if that is safe for my little one. or is it just as safe to bomb the place myself with those one you get at the supemarket.
I hope someone can help...

Could be bed bugs especially if it is a new place. They hide in skirting boards generally. If it is them you will find them if you hunt them out usually on the corner of sheeting or something. See what you can find on a google. Is anyone else getting bitten? Does he sleep in the same room as you??

Will check out the net to find out what they look like, both my DH and and I sleep in the same room as Spencer and I get bitten every now and then but my DH doesn't seem to be bitten at all.
We have searched the room and we found two different bugs very small and I think they look like a baby fly/mosquito. The house has been lived in before but all of Spencers bedding is brand new???

Are they fleas?

If there are bed bugs in the house it doesn't matter about your furniture....
another idea could be lice (along similar lines to the fleas)....
We got bed bugs from staying in a hotel. It was awful. Took me months to figure out what it was as they only bit one arm and never touched DH. Happened to be the arm I hang out of the bed  and I think DH's arms are too hairy for them. I went to Dr after Dr with no answers unless I wanted them to cut out some skin and send it away. And I wasn't that desperate to find out what  In the end I found them and took the steps to find out what they were and kill them. Ended up ripping up carpet in one room just incase.... If I had known what it was I was being bitten from sooner I wouldve had a go at the hotel we brought them home from... but it was nearly 6 months later....
Hope you find out what it is

I thought fleas as well at the start becasue the bites are generally in a cluster, but there are no signs of fleas, as in flea dust (eggs/poo) we do have a cat, so this is why it was my first thought but Ive checked her over and her bedding. Thinking that there is always more that one flea, so I would generally see evidence. Wouldn't I??
We are thinking about bombing the pace next week end (kills me to leave it that long). Does anyone know if it is safe???
I had a problem quite some years back now with an insect called midges(sp?).. They are a tiny tiny insect that is very hard to see and they crawl around on your skin and their bites are actually from when they wee on your skin, grouse I know.. Anyway it was only my daughter and I that were being bitten, not the boys, so I think they can be fussy about skin types or something..
I ended up using some bombs in the house and that seemed to work as we had no more problems afterwards.. Yes they are safe as long as you follow the directions properly on the back and vacate the house for as long as it says to.. give it a go as they seem to get rid of things you cant see.. I would advise to wash all of your bedding at the same time though just to be sure you have got them (whatever them is LOL).. Good luck
Hi...
I had this problem myself a few years back.
I still dont' know what they were exactly...
We had the house fumigated and stayed at my parents for 2 days... Perfectly safe for bub's... I stripped the beds and protected the items that i was advised to do so... The chemicals used now leave no residue and are harmless after a certain time. I think it was 48hrs...
Shop around and get the best price and ask lots of questions.
No disrespect, but don't do it yourself... Get the professionals...

Glad to hear it was just milk rash but it's always a good idea to give bubs bedding etc reg airings outside and I use eucalyptus spray as well just to ensure nasties are kept at bay.
