So, just wanting to know for those you have done this day before, or even if this is your first too, if you have any ideas on what I could maybe give DF???? I was thinking of something special in a way (god know what though) ..... anyone want to share some ideas with me??! Thanks :)

I've bought DH a book "Why I Love My Daddy". That way he can read it to his girls. For his first Father's Day I put together a photo album for him to take to work.

I just bought DH a catron on beer tfrom www.brewtopia.com.au (http://www.brewtopia.com.au) You get to customise the labels. You chose the colour and wording and even get to put a pic of bub on there. I then got him a stubby holder from Rabbit Photo with a picture of DD & DH on there.

I know he will love it.

I just bought Chris a small book about being a daddy, or things that daddy loves or some such (with space in the back for a photo of Daddy & Bub) and we had a great family day out. :)

This year will be much the same, a small token gift and a family day. :)

It's my DF first fathers day too. I'm making him a "Daddy's lil Boy" Album, with all new photos of Bren he hasn't seen and doing a sort of scrap book thingy with it. And as a prank gift the usual socks and jocks. lol

Good idea cheezels about the beer!!!

I just bought DP a work bench & a set of screw drivers from ALDI for fathers day. He wants to start doing "Projects", so I thought it would be a good idea.

My husband hasnt gotten thru a book yet so for my birthday i was brought a $100 massage and pampering voucher for a day spa so im thinking of getting DH a voucher to the same place for an hour massage which is $70 and then have a nice lunch at the steak house together afterwards.
He loves massages so i know he'll love it and he loves steak dianne and potato mash so best way to mans heart is thru his stomach.lol

yep, it's snuck up on me too! First Sunday in September - only a few weeks away.

A good photo of bubs and Daddy in a good photo frame for his desk is always a winner. You can get some lovely 'father' or 'dad' photo frames around too.

You can also make a little digital photo album. Epson.com have pages that just need photos and text and then can be printed as 5x7" or 8x10" photos. I've done a few of these and I choose the 5x7" templates and I bought a 5x7" photo album (yes they do exist) to put them in. Here's a link to the Dad album - http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/PrintLab/pl_projectDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&catOID=-14521&objOID=76026 (that's the 5x7" one). I hope I'm allowed to post that link.

the only thing my hubby reads is car mags! You could always buy a small blank canvas and do some hand/foot prints or if he drinks coffee get a coffee cup with bubs photo on it. What about a ring with bubs name and DOB engraved inside it? This fathers day I am getting hubby an "experience" on a boeing 737 at darling harbour in syd. He's sure not to forget that one and I will definately rack up the points in the gift dept!;)
